Join Benjamen, Scott, VF & Nickel as they catch up after some more time away from comic book podcasting.  The opening, 'General Banter" segment is primarily a discussion of neighborhood pubs, and drinking establishments.  Settle in, this episode is a 3-hour marathon. In "Comic News" the fellows discuss the upcoming prequel to Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns" and various Superbowl movie trailers. Rob Liefield's comments about the creation of Deadpool, DC's Legends of Tomorrow, and anticipation for the 2016 comic book movies round out the segment. Once again, the "Marvel Trivia Box" segment exposes Nickel's lack of knowledge on the very subject matter of this podcast.  This week, VF works in Star Wars trivia questions as well. The Graphic Novice Comic Book Podcast team comes out of retirement for the 2016 Reunion Tour.  Nickel & VF discuss what they've been up to for the past couple months, including sorting comics, prescription sunglasses, Star Wars, Making A Murderer, and coincidentally, New Year's at the Murder Cabin. No Marvel Trivia this week so that the guys can catch up on the highlights and lowlights from the past 5 weeks of comics. Prior to recording the most recent Walking Dead Trade Paperback review VF, Doc Thirst, and our Executive Producer, Fred, discuss a wide array of topics, including their shared love of table top gaming, Escape Rooms, Dungeons & Dragons, and eventually... the Walking Dead.

VF, Doc Thirst and Fred bring back the Walking Dead segment after a month with no Graphic Novice recordings.  Its still a Graphic Novice episode though, so the guys avoid talking about the title content for as long as possible before digging into The Walking Dead - Volume 17 (issues 97-102), which, obviously, includes the controversial 100th issue. The least informed comic book podcast returns the week before the much anticipated 2015 Rose City Comicon in Portland Oregon.  Nickel has flaked out, and the guys spend a significant amount of time discussing the great betrayal. After the details of Nickel's absence from Portland are discussed, and VF shoulders the responsibility of representing Graphic Novice in Portland we move onto the aftermath of VF's 40th birthday, and our attempt to piss off Jason Brigger.  VF almost picks a fight with Ryan Beagley, Nickel questions the format of the show, VF's chickens, Sue's Coffee, and Nickel's appearance on the Podcast Without Borders, episode #31 (not necessarily in that order).   The Graphic Novice Comic Book Podcast returns for at least one more episode as Nickel, VF, & Snow lay down another 2 hours down on tape.
