An evening routine is just as important as a morning routine. I used to get up multiple times a night to work, eat, follow ideas, etc. until I finally figured it out. Here are a few things I've learned: • No screens if I get up in the night. My phone stays in a different room. • If I can't sleep, I pray. • No eating in the middle of the night. I usually don't eat after dinner. • Melatonin helps a lot. • No beverages other than water, especially in the evening. • When I get up, I stay up. I don't push the snooze. We all meet people who are totally unteachable and all they want to do is argue. Rather than argue with people, step toward a relationship and prove them wrong with your actions. It's through relationships that we can impact other people.

My morning routine for the last year has started with reading scripture, journaling and prayer.  A few tips:  1. Eat well. I like overnight oats with walnuts, almonds and unsweetened almond milk.  2. Reading my Bible and journaling helps me get connected to my creator and my core.  3. I try to get 7 to 8 hours of sleep  4. I work out every other day.  They say that what you do in the first hour sets the course for your whole day.
