Niall Johnson and Nick Harris of RaW 1251am took to the gorgeous coast of Cornwall to bring us coverage from music and surf festival Boardmasters.

Sophia Ikirmawi of Burst Radio travelled to Standon Calling for us in late July to bring us coverage from the festival including interviews with the likes of Everything Everything, The Hunna and much more.

John Alexander from Demon FM in Leicester travels to the gorgeous settings of Kendal Calling to bring us coverage of the festival, with thanks to Jagerhaus.

Toby Fox & Laurence Grant of URY ventured into Sheffield for us as #SummerofFestivals continues with Tramlines 2016. This one has a huge difference, it takes place in many venues around the city. You can hear all about that and hear interviews from the festival on this podcast.

SRA continued our #SummerOfFestivals, travelling to Oxfordshire to visit Truck Festival. Boasting so many of our favourites in Student Radio, we get to work interviewing lots of new bands and enjoying what the festival has to offer. Once a year in Gloucestershire forest, bands assemble to put on one of the best rock shows of the year. It's called 2000 Trees festival. We sent down Tone Radio's Matt Wester and Corinne Torpey to cover the weekend for us. Hear how they got on here.

We had such a good weekend at T in the Park, we managed to make enough stuff for two podcasts! July has been wonderful for us attending festivals and now we bring you our post festival show from Brownstock Festival in Essex. It was headed up by Tinie Teampah, Kelis and Katy B amongst others and you can hear how our team of Jess Campbell and Luke James got on now!

Our magical #SummerofFestivals2016 (can that be a thing please?) continues with Tramlines next week in Sheffield. The festival is pretty unique in putting music on across different venues in the City, including the Cathedral, and we play you music from the festival as well as speaking to Head of Live Bookings from Tramlines, Kate. The Summer of 2016 has been a huge summer of festivals for the SRA with backstage attendance at the likes of T in the Park, 2000 Trees and many more! In the middle of July we go backstage at the weirdly named Truck Festival, which unfortunately is nothing to do with trucks! Boo! However what it does have is some of the biggest names in music, from Kodaline to Mystery Jets, from Moose Blood to Manic Street Preachers!
