    Cliff and Emily talk with Louise Jensen of the Lassen Land and Trails Trust about the Bike Lassen Initiate the Bizz Johnson Trail & Rails to Trails Festival. The Bizz Johnson is the longest and oldest Rail Trail in California. On October 12 in Susanville they will celebrate the Rails to Trails Festival. Lassen has an extensive and well used trail system. All detailed in this interview.

  • New 3 Foot Passing Law

    Cliff and Emily talk with Bill Burton about the new 3 foot passing law just signed into law by Governor Brown. This was the 3rd attempt at getting this law passed. It is already law in about 21 other states. The bill in essence states that there must be at least 3 feet between a motor vehicle and a cyclist before it can pass the cyclist. Although this is a common sense law, it has be met with much controversy from the motoring public.

  • Coastal Commission & The Bay Trail Pedestrian Signals for the Blind

    Cliff and Emily with Jens Anderson of the McKinleyville Community Serves District Parks & Recreation Division about their recent Bike Rodeo, their trails in Hiller Park and other recreational activities. An update is also given about Arcata's failed bid for a Tiger Grant and what the next steps will be. Also a reminder about the Coastal Commission meeting coming up this Thursday, 8am in the Wharfinger Building along with several other important meetings this week.
