We kick off our Summer Previews with a look at the Big Ten teams not on Northwestern's schedule this year. Indiana is a team who you really shouldn't sleep on. They might be better than you think they ought to be.

We're back after a brief hiatus and our summer previews are ready to go. We will get into each team on Northwestern's schedule and touch on at the Big Ten teams Northwestern won't play this year. Before we do that, we have to catch up on some news and notes.

This week we have seen a little news coming out of the Northwestern Football program with Fitz and Co. taking to Zoom to catch up with the media. Not a lot of real news to report, but it's been a minute since we all caught up.

After a little down time after NFL Draft, we catch up on some recruiting news from the NU Football team.

In our second pod of the week, we sat down with Paul Hletko, the founder of FEW Spirits to talk about how he started the first distillery in Evanston and some of the interesting things they are doing there.

To take your mind off of the state of the world, we bring you an interesting thought experiment. Today, we look back at the past 10 years of Northwestern football recruiting and look at it from a different perspective.

With the whole world turned upside down by the global pandemic, we aren't going to do our usual bracketology podcast. However, we would be remiss if we didn't bring in Scott Sepich, our resident bracket expert to talk about what might have been in March Madness this year.

Lisa brings so much first-hand knowledge about this year's women's team after calling the Big Ten Tournament. What does an early departure mean for the ladies moving into the Big Dance? With a thrashing of Illinois, the Northwestern Women's Basketball team are Big Ten Champions for the first time in 30 years. With the Big Ten Tournament going on this week we celebrate these amazing women and start to look ahead to the NCAA tournament.

This week, we welcome in former Northwestern DL Alex Miller and talk about his preparations for the NFL draft and his Pro Day coming up in a couple weeks. We also celebrate the #14 Women's hoops team as they are on the brink of setting a record for most wins in a season for NU. Finally, football spring practice is underway and we check in on the gridiron.

The NU Ladies continue to roll through the B1G. After close wins over Michigan and Nebraska, Lindsey Pulliam found her shot as she and Veronica Burton combined for 50 points as the Cats laid the smack down over Rutgers, the top defensive team in the conference. We also catch up with Lax, Softball, Men's Hoops, Baseball and the XFL. All this and more in this week's episode.

Today we talk with Kalyn Kahler of Sports Illustrated. Kalyn is a national NFL reporter and a former NU Cheerleader. We have a fantastic discussion on her career, the NFL, reporting and cheerleading. All this and more in this week's episode.

The ladies are rolling again! The three of us all got together with a bunch of our friends and listeners to take in the great win over Michigan. If the NCAA tournament were to start today, the committee says the Cats would be a 4 seed and host the opening two rounds of play. In a shocking move, Mark D'Antonio abruptly steps down at Michigan State. Where does Sparty go from here? Finally, Mike Kafka gets a Super Bowl ring as the Chiefs knock off the 49ers in a really fun Super Bowl. All this and more in this week's episode.

Well, all good things must come to an end and that is true for the Women's 7 game win streak. The Cats ran into a Maryland team intent on avenging their thrashing at Welsh-Ryan on New Year's Eve. However, even with that road loss, the Cats remain ranked, dropping only one spot to 23. The Men's team dropped a tough one to Ohio State this week as well. It's closer to spring than we can imagine at this point and both Lacrosse and Softball are going into their 2020 campaigns ranked. Lacrosse at #3 and Softball at #14.

Finally, the AP voters have come to their senses and have ranked the NU Women's Hoops team. A huge comeback win over Indiana in OT and a thorough drubbing of Penn State has the Cats sitting at #22. On the Men's front, Boo Buie came back from injury and the guys keep scrapping. All this and more in this week's episode.

The NU Women's Hoops team is on a roll! Big wins over Minnesota and Purdue have the Cats on the doorstep of the Top 25 with a huge matchup against Indiana forthcoming. The Men's team finally won a conference game as they beat Nebraska. Still, they are going through all sorts of growing pains. In addition, we can't forget the amazing season LSU completed with their title win over Clemson. All this and more in this week's episode.
