    17/02/2021 Duración: 02h25min

Brendan and Jude are on a two man mission to deliver a Notre Dame Fighting Irish podcast this week. Would you rather they NOT, and wait for Joshua, or are you craving good vibes for your ears? Don't answer that, because it probably doesn't matter. What matters is that you now have over 2 hours of fun as you continue to shovel out your driveway - which I suppose answers the question. In this episode: Some recruiting rankings were hurt by no camps and/or season because of COVID. Ryan Barnes is verified. Devin Aupiu will be missed on the west coast. A running back theory that Tom doesn't think is crazy (but maybe won't co-sign). Missing out on Donovan Edwards is sad. The offensive line class is one of the best in the country - of course. The vast potential of Joe Alt. Will there be a position switch for Mitchell Evans in the future? Trusting Mike Elston and his process on the defensive line. Why isn't Prince Kollie - Butkus Award winner Prince Kollie - a 5-Star Tom? WHY TOM?! The wide receiver trio and how they add to what Notre Dame needs on the perimeter. 28/01/2021 Duración: 02h36min

Joshua, Jude, and Brendan trudged slowly towards the post office on a quiet winter night. The air was cold and piercing, and the moisture around their faces from masks added a wind chill to their lips that made speaking a painful exercise. The mail, however, needed to be collected and sorted out so the dreams and wishes of thousands of lunatic Notre Dame Fighting Irish football fans could come true - on a quiet winter night. • OFD BOOKCAST: The brutal nature of a Notre Dame football loss

    25/01/2021 Duración: 01h01min

After many months, we kickstart the OFD Bookcast to finally finish "Notre Dame's Greatest Coaches" by Stephen Singular and Moose Krause. Seeing as how there has been a giant stretch of time between the last Bookcast episode and this one, a couple of things to keep in mind: Maybe go back and listen to the 6 previous installments if this is new to you. My dog (Bo Bowower) made things a little difficult at times. It's been almost as lo since I did a solo recording, and there are a few pauses to get my ducks in a row. So now that we have that out of the way, here's some of the things discussed from Chapters 15 and 16: Moose was comically giddy to see practice after a loss. Joe Moore was talked about quite a bit - but not nearly enough. A brief clapback at Joseph Campbell's "The Power of Myth" and Singular's usage of it in this book. The end of Ara. The physical toll of coaching the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. How Ara just forced Johnny Ray to coach in South Bend. A Frank Leahy impression just for Brenda

  • OFD Podcast: Regifting Notre Dame's glorious Hawaii Bowl victory for a very Merry Christmas

    22/12/2020 Duración: 01h34min

Merry Christmas! Joshua, Jude, and Brendan are taking a little bit of a breather this week, but we decided to RE-GIFT a fantastic episode for all of you to enjoy. Christmas Eve marks the 11th anniversary of Notre Dame's 49-21 win over the Hawaii Warriors in the Hawaii Bowl. Not only was it a tremendously fun game to watch, it also finally ended Notre Dame's bowl losing streak that stretched back to their last win in January of 1994. We sat down to watch a one hour cut-up of the game and this is the podcast... us commenting all the way through. In fact, there are two versions of this podcast. This one has the game sound with it to follow along, and the other version has no game sound - which can be found by searching the OFD Podcast. The one with no game sound is available so that you can watch a video of the same version of the game while listening to us riff all over it. That YouTube link IS RIGHT HERE. We hope you enjoy whatever version you choose (why no both?) and from everyone over at One Foot Down, have

In this massive megasode: The reviews are in and people are ready to binge drink with us. We take some questions and try to give a few solid answers.
