Fall premiere.  PostandCourier.com's Jeff Hartsell previews the season opener against Charleston Southern, as "Citadel GrayLine" begins its fifth season.  We also get Hartsell's projection of how the Dogs will fare this year.  And host Jon Rawl reminds us of an "international incident" involving Citadel cadets at the 1991 Ryder Cup at Kiawah Island.

The Citadel Success Institute (CSI) is a summer program designed to help incoming knobs make it through their first year.   Jeff Perez, The Citadel's vice president for external affairs, shares info on the success rate of the program and its academic regimen.   We have a special snippet of Ronald Reagan's 1993 commencement address at The Citadel, where the late president spoke about Harvey Dick, ERWs and Congress.  Plus, PostandCourier.com's Jeff Hartsell has a Diamond Dogs and hoops recruiting report. 

Conway Saylor, the 2012 Governor's Professor of the Year, talks about her 20-year career teaching in The Citadel's psychology department.   We also learn about her role in Leadership Day, which over 2,000 cadets participated in.  Jeff Hartsell reports on the arrival of former Bulldog football player Scott Yielding ('93), who leaves behind an assistantship at Oklahama State to come be the Dogs' tight ends coach.  And Furman is this weekend's opponent at The Joe.

Dr. Harvey Schiller ('60) talks about the honor of being this weekend's Class of 2012 commencement speaker.   The former Bulldog football player, retired Air Force general, Southeastern Conference commissioner, United States Olympic Committee executive director, cable television executive and the current head of Global Options Group highlights his stellar career.   Plus, the Post and Courier's Jeff Hartsell updates us on Bulldog baseball and former wide receiver Kevin Hardy, who signed a free agent deal with the New Orleans Saints.

Brad Felder ('11), a former Bulldog and current Clemson Tiger outfielder, is this week's special guest.   The Bowman, S.C., native chats about his playing days in Charleston; and how he ended up in Death Valley as a graduate student/baseball player.   Jeff Hartsell has the latest news on Fred Jordan's 2012 club, which hosts Georgia Southern this weekend.   And 11 Citadel Men are memorialized in this week's "Echo Taps."

Tennis coach Kemper Baker joins the show to talk about his team, as The Citadel hosts the SoCon men's tennis championships this weekend.   The Diamond Dogs are on a four-game win streak, including a dramatic six-run, two-out 9th inning rally over UNCG.  And PostandCourier.com's Jeff Hartsell has an update on Bulldogs playing in the Minor League.

150th Episode.  Jim Scott ('69), former Bulldog baseball pitcher and retired Air Force colonel, is the Band of Gold Spotlight.  We also learn about his role as the president of the Diamond Dogs Club, which supports Citadel baseball.   Speaking of the Dogs, PostandCourier.com's Jeff Hartsell reports on their series loss at Samford, as well as the midweek shellacking at South Carolina.  

Kevin Higgins recaps spring drills, answers an e-mail question about uniform changes, and informs us that his football team will be playing Clemson, East Carolina and Florida State in the next few years.   Also, Jeff Hartsell reports on the recent hot streak Fred Jordan's baseball team has enjoyed, including an upset of No. 28 Coastal Carolina.

Spring game recap.  The Blue team edges the White, 24-21.  PostandCourier.com's Jeff Hartsell reports on the progress of the Dogs' new shotgun formation.  Also, the Diamond Dogs are swept at Appalachian State, but blank Charleston Southern in midweek action at The Joe.

Corps Day 2012 and the Blue-White Spring Football Game take place at The Citadel this weekend.  Citadel Football Association president John Carlisle ('64) talks about his group's events this week, including the "Beautiful Bulldog Contest."   PostandCourier.com's Jeff Hartsell reports on the injury to all-SoCon defensive lineman Derek Douglas, as well as the departure of defensive coordinator Josh Conklin to the Tennessee Vols.

Board of Visitors spotlight.  We listen-in to the most recent BOV meeting, where we hear committee reports from Ben Legare, Fred Price and Glenn Addison.  Will The Citadel finally get a parking garage?   In sports news, the basketball team falls in the first round of the SoCon tourney.  And Jeff Hartsell files a report on the football team's spring drills.
