NASA Astronaut Lt. Col. Randy Bresnik ('89) is the Band of Gold Spotlight.   He tells us about his recent mission on the space shuttle Atlantis, as well as his cadet days in the late '80s.    Jeff Hartsell has the latest on rumors concerning basketball chief Ed Conroy possibly leaving for another job.  Also, we get a spring football practice report, and a briefing on the SoCon-leading Citadel baseball team.    

Coaches continue to jump ship from the football program--two in the last week.  Jeff Hartsell has the details, as well as info on the latest arrest in the Starks-Rice robbery cases.  The Dogs sit atop the SoCon baseball standings, after sweeping Western Carolina in the opening weekend of conference action.   Plus, Connie Tuza ('58) discusses The Citadel Football Association's upcoming CFA-Kevin Higgins Golf Tournament.  

Aaron Tippin, country music star and Citadel fan, talks about the free concert he is giving at McAlister Field House on Friday.   On the blues front, The Citadel basketball team's season ends with a loss to Appalachian State in the SoCon Tourney, and former quarterback Miguel Starks is charged with a second armed robbery.

Miguel Starks has been charged with the armed robbery of football assistant and Citadel grad Josh Harpe.   Jeff Hartsell has the details of the unfolding case, which also involves former Bulldog linebacker Reggie Rice.   We hear the reactions of both Kevin Higgins and athletic director Larry Leckonby.   Plus, the Bulldog basketball team heads to the SoCon Tourney in Charlotte, and the baseball team plays at Hawaii.

Jeff Hartsell discusses how the basketball team will rebound on the road at Furman and Wofford.   He also gives us the scoop on spring football practice, which begins this weekend.    Citadel baseball is off to a 2-1 start.  Plus, we hear a clip of GrayLine's past interview with Larry Hutto ('91), a member of The Citadel's 1990 College World Series team.

Super Bowl champion Travis Jervey ('95) is this week's special guest.   The former Bulldog running back discusses his days with The Dogs, as well as playing for the NFL's Packers, 49ers and Falcons.  Also,  head football coach Kevin Higgins announces the 2010 signing class.   Jeff Hartsell, broadcasting from Johnson Hagood Stadium, weighs-in with his thoughts on the new gridiron Bulldogs.

Regan Truesdale ('88), Citadel basketball's all-time leading scorer, visits with Jeff Hartsell.  The legendary Bulldog had his jersey number (33) honored at McAlister Field House on Saturday.   We also chat with Trey Swinton, a senior cadet from Mt. Pleasant, S.C.   Swinton and others organized the "Help For Haiti" fundraiser on The Citadel campus, which raised over $1,000 for the American Red Cross.

Gen. William Hartzog ('63) is the Band of Gold Spotlight this week. The retired four-star general discusses his experience as a Citadel cadet, Vietnam, a 36-year Army career, and what he's doing now as CEO of Burdeshaw Associates, LTD. Plus, Jeff Hartsell updates us on the latest in football recruiting, Andre Roberts gets a Senior Bowl invite, and the Bulldog basketball team wins at Samford.

Burke High School quarterback Del'Javon Simmons commits to the Dogs. Jeff Hartsell has the full report, as well as info on the Bulldog basketball team, which hits the road to Chattanooga and Birmingham. Also, we spotlight veteran students on this week's show, as former quarterback and veteran student Dick Guererri ('59) is our special guest.

Lee Glaze ('86), a former football and baseball star at The CItadel, Southern Conference Athlete of the Year and Citadel Athletic Hall of Fame member, is this week's Band of Gold Spotlight. We also discuss the lackluster football season that just ended with a loss at Georgia Southern.

Andre Roberts and Jordon Gilmore talk about their final game in a Bulldog uniform, as The Citadel prepares to wrap-up the '09 season in Statesboro, Ga., against Georgia Southern. Cmdr. Mike Alverson of The Citadel Regimental Band is this week's special guest. We learn about the band's return to Scotland in 2010, as well as the 100th anniversary of this integral piece of the Military College of South Carolina. Also, defensive back Biron Nabritt comments on the play of his squad, which prepares to face Wofford at Homecoming this Saturday.

Charlie Baker ('71) is the Band of Gold Spotlight this week. A defensive standout under Red Parker, this renaissance man tells us about his involvement with The Citadel Football Association, and his own style of Carolina barbecue. Plus, The Dogs down Furman. We hear from defensive lineman Erik Clanton, who made his first interception in the game. Also, Kevin Higgins comments on the play of quarterback Miguel Starks. And we hear the latest on the "riot" that happened on The Citadel campus on Sunday, Oct. 25.
