Kyle Weaver and Jeff Hartsell weigh-in on the decision of Brent Thompson to put sophomore Brandon Rainey as the starting quarterback. The Acworth, Ga., native helped steer a second half comeback at Western Carolina, as The Citadel improved to 3-5.  Samford now enters "The Genera" as the Homecoming opponent.  Plus, Duggar Baucom's basketball teams opens the season at No. 22 Clemson, losing 100-80.

Hurricane Florence has forced The Citadel to postpone its home game this weekend against Charleston Southern.  Jon Rawl steps back into the host chair as Jeff Hartsell is on the hurricane beat for The Post and Courier.  The former host is joined by current host and former offensive lineman Kyle Weaver; and the duo review the Bulldogs' heartbreaking overtime loss to Chattanooga, which sent El Cid to 0-2 on the young season.

Wofford once again has The Citadel's number, as four pass attempts into the end zone in the closing seconds are duds and the good guys lose, 28-21.  Kyle Weaver is joined this week by veteran host Jon Rawl; and the pair reflect on the opening setback and glance ahead to this weekend's home debut at "The General," as the Chattanooga Mocs hit Hagood Avenue.
