IWBC Ruth Hartman Memorial Girls Baseball Tournament was a big hit at BIG Vision and brought many new people to the event. Dan was able to conduct quite a few interviews for his Stepping Up to the Plate podcast series. First up - Mo'ne Davis!

Peter Guerrieri and Michael Lehr of Dynamic Physical Therapy, support BIG Vision because they believe it’s important to advocate for youth and provide opportunities for an active lifestyle. They discuss the importance of being a versatile athlete especially while kids are still growing physically in order to give joints and muscles a rest.

Margaret Morgan is a Manager at the DoubleTree by Hilton Reading and she talks about the benefits of partnering with BIG Vision Foundation. She notes girls playing sports develop strong leadership skills that help them on and off the court both professionally and personally. BIG Vision is all about developing strong community partnerships and strong leaders!

Dan talks to Aaron Carman about his playing days with Berkshire Baseball as a youngster and how things have come full circle as he now works for the organization and starts as a head coach.

Matt talks about his motivation for writing the book and how he was impacted by those he interviewed. Matt also shares his thoughts about some of the places in Reading that served as a sanctuary for him.

Matt Shaner moved to Berks County eight years ago and wrote a book 'The Glass Jar City, Stories From the Fight to Save Reading, Pennsylvania'. He developed a thesis novel about baseball then decided to write a book that could make a difference. Matt interviewed several people while writing this book, Dan Clouser was one of them. Dan now interviews Matt about this journey and the lessons learned along the way.

Ruth Hartman's granddaughter Kelly Beaver shares her memories. Kelly talks about the impact Ruth had on the people she met and the lasting impressions she left behind. Kelly remembers her as being very humble and always encouraging everyone she met. Kelly and Dan share some exciting news about the First Annual Ruth Hartman Memorial Girls Baseball Tournament.
