It's a 1993 release, set in the sixties about a young boy in the bronx who's life and upbringing is torn between his hard working dad and a local gangster. Starring and Directed by Robert De Niro it's got that class from the start, but co-star Chazz Palminteri's role is more than just as an actor in this film - as we'll discuss. The 1986 film Stand by Me is less of a blockbuster more of a classic, and in so many ways. A breakout cast with names that today are instantly recognisable, this is a coming-of-age film directed by Rob Reiner but it is based on Stephen King's 1982 novella The Body Wil Wheaton, River Phoenix, Corey Feldman, and Jerry O'Connell are the four boys who head off to search for a Body. Stephen knows it well, Trev thinks he knows part of it. Together, they unpack this classic from the 80's thanks to Fetch and Hisense
