All conversations last around 30 min. Visual Artist Lara Ögel picked one of the worlds first children's picture books from 1686 called 'The World of Things Obvious to the Senses Drawn in Pictures’. Together with Bodil Krogh Andersen, Lea Anic, Camilla Fagerli, Mai Keldsen, Martin Lund, and Maja Liisberg Poulsen – a group of amazing students from the Royal Academy of Fine Art in Copenhagen – Maria Berrios and I (Jakob Jakobsen) are doing a collective reading of the speech delivered by Edmundo Desnoes, one of the cuban delegates at the Cultural Congress of Havana in January 1968. From this speech we also borrowed the title of the show in the Archive: 'We Are and We Are Not'.

    Listen to a dramatised mash-up of speeches from the 1968 Cultural Congress of Havana at the Hospital Prison University Radio. We, Maria Berrios and Jakob Jakobsen, produced this soundtrack for a propaganda tower presented as part of our project "The Revolution Must Be A School of Unfettered Thought" at the Sao Paulo Biennale in 2014. Much of the material from our research and visit to Cuba will be on display at the Archive for the next two months.     On the Hospital Prison University Radio you listen to unskilled voices. Far from the smooth confident dynamics of talk-radio, here people try and use the radio to touch things and one another. As you can hear I am constantly struggling to find the words Currently on the radio you can hear a conversation between psychiatrist Birgit Bundesen and I, Jakob Jakobsen. I invited her to help me understand the Hospital Prison University Archive, and we partake in a sort of institutional analysis, trying to make sense of what kind of violence and repression are hiding under the floorboards of this institution. Birgit works in a hospital within the Danish National Health Service. I was initially in touch with her when she approached me to tell me that one of her patients suffering from psychosis was listening intensely to the Hospital Prison University Radio. We talk about safe space and care as an escape from the structured situation of the therapy session, among other things. Being at the Hospital Prison University

Toves var et af kunstscenens hippeste gallerier i begyndelsen af 10erne, men i 2017 besluttede kunstnerne bag projektet at sælge. I samarbejde med Christina Wilson Art Adversary opgjorde de Toves 'assets' og nåede frem til en samlet pris på kr. 825.000,-. De primære værdier bestod af sociale netværk og i salgsprospektet bliver det nøje opført med navns nævnelse hvem og hvor mange følgere Toves har på diverse sociale medier. Alt dette var en del af pakken. Og vi kan afsløre, at et salg er ved at være i posen. Lyt med og hør hvem der slog til.

Værdikritik er den nyeste tendens indenfor Marx læsningen og foreslår en fundamental kritik af pengeformen og vareformen. Værdikritik åbner et dystopisk landskab hvor kapitalismen er inde i sit endelige slutspil. Mange tak til Anna og Dominique for at dele deres viden og engagement!
