Katie Livingston of New Cordell winner of the world wide writing contest; Writers of The Future!   Katie is a student at Wesleyan University where she is earning a BA in English and lives in Middletown, Connecticut during the school year. She spent her high school years tending chickens and writing speculative fiction novels, since there wasn’t much else to do smack in the middle of rural Oklahoma. She is a fan of Stephen King novels, ’80s horror flicks, rural living, and cats—all of which inspire her work.
