Georgian Bay Roots dedicates a whole episode to the life and music of Richard Laviolette (1982-2023). Being the show that spins the music made and played by your neighbours in Grey/Bruce and seeing as Rich grew up on a beef farm in Tara and is remembered fondly by friends and family throughout the region, GBR's playlist runs the gamut from Rich's releases back in 2005 to 2017's Taking the Long Way Home, with 6 albums worth of material in between! Along with trying to tell Rich's story now that he's gone, Georgian Bay Roots invites to you to join us in celebrating the life and music of one of our neighbours: prolific songwriter and performer extraordinaire, Rich Laviolette.
