Fresh back from the Alps where we played on the deck at Fahreheit 7 in Val Thorens, with live sax and the best crowd ever.  Inspired and ready to disco, the FunkySX show tonight was immense and, as ever, I loved it.   Get involved, get dancing and get funky......

Starting off with some funkyness then dropping you way back to the old school with some classic club house and funky breaks (with a sprinkling of acid too.....who'd have thought it)   Featuring Jamiroquai, Never Dull, Armand van Helden, Yam Who, Chemical Brothers, Dave Lee, Stevie Wonder, Carole King, Coconut Hut Club and sooooo much more....hope you enjoy it as much as I did playing it....x

While we're going into meteorological spring in Northern Hemisphere and autumn in the Southern Hemisphere the timme differences are aplenty......so the motto of this show is that it's 'Disco O'Clock' somewhere.  So get your dancing shoes on and get moving...

This week's show was a delight to play and allowed us to play some up to date mixes, edits and remixes of absolute classic disco, motown and funky flavours.  The ultimate result being a show that built and built to higher energy throughout.  We danced so much that a certain person's smart watch ran out of battery while it tried to record the number of steps and 'dance' energy.....ha!  Enjoy.

Something different from me this week, insofar that I didn't speak once.....bit of an experiment to see how you like it.  Of course, I have to speak on the radio, but to what degree you are the ultimate judges..... The usual classic funky and disco, but hopefully you like the show.
