It is the 50th episode of Line Noise. We started in January 2016: David Bowie had just died, we were all depressed and it took Matmos' washing machine to cheer us up. Over the years we have interviewed everyone from Jlin to to Photek. But for our 50th episode we want to ask: What’s the point of Line Noise? What's the point of music journalism as a whole? Can you talk intelligently about electronic music if you don’t go to night clubs? Can you enjoy music for young people if you are the wrong side of 40? Line Noise co-founder Philip Sherburne guests, alongside Ben Cardew and Braqueberry for this special edition.
