Jared and Dom talk with Thomas about breaking trombones, the dynamics of a two-man family band, and the legend of Doc Ellis. Jared and Dominic Cortese are two brothers that make up the "musclepop" indie rock band Electric NoNo (formerly The Jesus Rehab). Originally from the Midwest, they didn't actually start playing music together until they were adults - when Dom moved to join Jared in Seattle. The duo have been called "a groovy Japandroids" and "a major key Led Zeppelin". Hannah Mohan is the lead singer, songwriter and guitarist for indie-rock trio And The Kids. Originally forming in Northampton, Massachusetts, the band also consists of Rebecca Lasaponaro on drums, Megan Miller on synthesizers and percussion, and Taliana Katz on bass. Davey talks with Thomas about growing up in his dad’s recording studio, record label conflicts in LA, and Leskovar Lincoln Mercury. Davey Ingersoll is the lead vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter for Seattle band The Echolarks. He grew up in Tri-Cities, WA, and has been playing music professionally since the mid 90’s. His former band Gosling (AKA Loudermilk)were signed to several major labels down in LA, toured with huge bands like Megadeth, and got numerous placements in TV & film before disbanding due to label issues.
