This mix is from one of Pink Mammoth's favorite producers and DJ duo Spirit Catcher. Spirit Catcher are in fact two: Belgian engineer Jean Vanesse and keyboard player Thomas Sohet are both consistent with what they do, they’ve built a reputation through their dynamic live performances and superb productions. More recently Spirit Catcher have been releasing more groove-based techno and house cuts on 2020 Vision and Systematic Recordings, and have even compiled their debut mix CD for NRK. We are super excited to release this live set one of our all time favorite DJs: the well respected producer and house guru JIMPSTER (Freerange, UK). This took place during our last collaboration/dj performance at the BEAT MARKET launch party @ MIGHTY, SF. Here, Jimpster lays down a 3+ hour journey of pure bliss. The sound is expansive, deep, funky, warm, futuristic, yet nostalgic. The mixing is on point, with his signature smooth weaving of tracks, and is glazed with the right amount of effect.
