    Robbie Coleman went from sport to writing at 20, and has gone from that to become the sort of writer who crashed beautifully through an interview with Brett Easton Ellis and dished the dirt on the bohemian life in Berlin for the New York Times. He also makes fiction, films and music, and is currently the Editorial Director at Right Angle Studios, who create things online like culture guide The Thousands.     Angela Bennetts started out as a copywriter for a publisher, and one of her early arts ventures was Even Books: book parties she put together with Alice Fenton because they were “bored”. She's worked with Underbelly Arts, edited arts and fashion writing and been the co-director of the National Young Writers Festival.   • Reg Mombassa

    Reg Mombassa stepped off a boat as a New Zealander at the age of 17 in 1969. By 2000, his art had become so iconically Australian by being featured all over Mambo t-shirts that it was all over the Olympic opening ceremony.     Daniel Dalton is the creator of Go Book Yourself - a human-curated book recommendation site. Famous author John Green tweeted the book to his million followers and within a month the website had blown up. It now receives over 75,000 unique viewers and has special guest authors to contribute and edit, such as Matt Haig and Nick Harkaway.     Eliza Sarlos is an FBi veteran who throughout her life sees gaps and fills them. She created FBi's storytelling program All The Best, and has written a picture book based on inspiring women of history called Amazing Babes. As one-time director of the Sound Summit music festival and Creative director of Music NSW, she's been passionate about creating platforms for emerging musicians, and in 2010 was named one of the Top 30 under 30 in the Australian music industry. More recently, she's been in the limelight as artistic director of Underbelly Arts, an arts festival that's dedicated to unearthing Australia's next generation of artists.     Originially hailing from FBi as Arts & Culture Editorial Producer, Bridie Moran has her toes dipped in several creative rivers - she is the manager of the National Craft Initiative to boost craft appreciation in Australia, all the while coordinating projects for NSW New Voices Poetry Series and managing the bi-monthly Youth Action magazine called unleash, a format used to encourage youth to express their opinions and take positive action in their communities.     Jamie Farkas grew up in New York, briefly next door to one of the Rolling Stones. Since 2003 she's been at the centre VICE music operations, spreading music across the publications vast web of media and signing artists to the company's record label like Black Lips and the Ravonettes.     By the time that he was 19, Benjamin Gilmour found himself as the sole ambulance worker in a small country town. In the years since then he's worked as an ambulance worker here and abroad, been a visiting professional in ambulance services in Pakistan, Mexico, Macedonia and even Venice and even found time to be an author and a filmmaker. Now in his late 30's he's still working as a paramedic in Sydney, having written three books and produced two films. His latest is about his experiences working as a paramedic all around the world. The first one was fiction and got 89% on the pretty hard to please Rotten Tomatoes meta-critical site.     Chris Graham started out at the Sydney Morning herald as a copyboy and has gone on to a Walkley-winning career that includes founding publications like the National Indigenous Times and Tracker magazine. He's described his career highlight as “having his home and office raided by the Australian Federal Police” and said that his job is essentially “explaining to white Australians that we are not the master race”.
