  • The Week In Reviews - Prog Band Consider The Source

    29/10/2015 Duración: 37min

Much to the excitement of Prog fans worldwide, NYC trio Consider the Source is releasing the second installment of their epic, three part grand vision, World War Trio. Following the dense, nearly 24 minute, five part composition that comprised World War Trio (Part I), this double album begins with the trio of masterful technicians' progressive rock, metal and jazz foundation, then draw from Middle Eastern, Indian and Eastern European traditions - balancing shifting moods and tempos, cerebral and emotional jabs and intellectual and primal pursuits - into a dynamic and cinematic audio experience that has been described by one critic as “the soundtrack to an alien invasion”. A relentless touring schedule has won the band a fervent following from California to Israel, with fans ranging from jam-band hippies and jazz cats to metal headbangers and prog aficionados.

  • Americas Most Unwanted and The People Who Find Them

    17/10/2015 Duración: 01h17min

This week we are going to tackle the Elephant in the room, Pretrial in all its glory. What amazes me is that everyone likes to grumble about it, but no-one seems willing to take the problem on. It may well be the death knell of comercial surety. It is time to take a stance on Pretrial. I have spent a couple of days digging into the economics. The poor taxpayer is taking it in the ass. Best stat I found was New Jersey where they want $1.5 million to hire 10-15 new people to head up the Pretrial effort. This is ridiculous!

Lots to talk about this week. Putin in Syria, Clinton on trade pacts, DNC debate on Tuesday, Ben (oops I put my foot in it again) Carson, trump doubling down on not uiting the race, GOP's search for a new patsy to be the speaker of the house.

  • Americas Most Unwanted and The People Who Find Them

    10/10/2015 Duración: 01h55min

Our weekly program about the world of bail bonds and bounty hunting. With professionals from Florida to California, Michigan to Georgia, we are covered east to west and north to south. We are still working on the topics, but I will bet they will knock your socks off. I am going to try and avoid discussing the size of Beth's boobs and if she needs a license for them. A concealed carry permit hardly seems to cover the issue.  Of more interest is health and well being. It is well known that you can't turn up at jail with a busted up fugitive. The jails hate people messing up thier floors with blood and gunk. So what should you do?

  • The Week In Reviews -Drea M - Timebomb

    08/10/2015 Duración: 29min

Drea. M commands the heart to listen. Soulful grit, haunting vocals, and mesmerizing live performances make this Bay Area songstress a must-hear sonic treat. With gutsy, raw emotion at the core of her songs, Drea. M does not compromise on the other elements of songwriting. Her lyrics are sophisticated, provocative, and expressed in unique cadences and layers, creating an unusual sonic quality, both edgy and refined. From multi-instrumental acoustic arrangements on her first album, Surrender (released under the name “Drea Muldavin”), to the more recent incorporation of electronic, orchestral, big-sound beats (such as her “Timebomb” single), Drea. M's style is ever-expanding, teasing her music into new realms. No matter the direction her songs take, what continues to drive her music is a haunting, atmospheric, and intricately textured sound, and an unwavering honesty about what it means to be profoundly alive. Drea. M has recently filmed a new video in support of her latest single, “Timebomb.”

  • Americas Most Unwanted and The People Who Find Them

    03/10/2015 Duración: 01h04min

Our weekly look inside the world of bail bonds and bounty hunting. We touched on the subject last week and I want explore it more deeply. When a bondsman engages the services of a third party recovery agent there are some potential liability issues. What are the best practices. Identification, on eBay you can buy all sorts of fancy badges for under $20. There were also a couple of sites that will make a personalized plastic ID card with picture hologram etc. I am tempted to get one, just to see exactly what it says. I would estimate that for under $100 you can set yourself up as a pretty convincing looking Recovery Agent.

  • The News In Review - Barrett and Guests

    27/09/2015 Duración: 01h43min

A pretty boring week, apparently there has been no news due to the Popes visit. Pope in airplane, Pope in Fiat, Pope kissing baby, Pope scrathing nose. Oh and Boehner resigning. You had to dig for that one, it was relegated to the page of the newspaper that also had the local high school football scores.

  • Americas Most Unwanted and The People Who Find Them

    26/09/2015 Duración: 01h26min

Our weekly look inside the world of bail bonds. Dan Abrahans of I Uncuff has an interesting case. A defendent is bailed out and the very next day is deported to Guatemala. Logic says that it should be a no brainer to get off the bond. However logic and justice are not always in lock step. I thought that the story had to be a one in a million, but apparenty it has happened in the past to at least one of the panel members. There was also a law suit filed earlier this week by Beth Chapman against OK based hunter lenny Biggers. I have not read it, only the press articles. No pun intended, but it sounds like Beth feels Lenny has been 'Hounding' her.

Is the summer of Trump over? Did he get bested by a gal? Can Trump fight back or has the wind been taken out of his sails? Is it time for the 'has beens' to hang up their hats.

  • Americas Most Unwanted and The People Who Find Them

    19/09/2015 Duración: 01h15min

We are all set for another great program. There is an interesting story out of Oklahoma. It seems complex, so I will let our OK based panel member Lenny Biggers explain it. There is little doubt that aspects of the case are unique to OK, however a large portion seems to be applicable in any state that permits commercial surety. I was chatting with a recovery agent earlier this week, he brought up some questions that I had to admit I had not thought about, the first of which is the importance of being physically fit. Sure it seems obvious, but do you need to 'Iron Man' to be an effective Recovery Agent?

  • The Week In Reviews - John Payne - Intelligent Music Project

    18/09/2015 Duración: 55min

TOUCHING THE DIVINE is the third studio album from Intelligent Music Project and the second all-star line-up, creating a remarkable infusion by its author and producer's musically erudite and unconventional style, and the full creative input of the legendary musicians. The production features session aces Simon Phillips (drums and percussion), Nathan East (bass) & Tim Pierce (guitars), and the remarkable voices of John Payne (ex-Asia) and Toto`s Joseph Williams, who bring their own flavor to all 14 equally outstanding pieces in the album.

  • Americas Most Unwanted and The People Who Find Them

    12/09/2015 Duración: 01h18min

There are many things that I believe are facts. Sure death and taxes are right up there, but there are many others. I believe that without some serious changes the Bail Bond industry is going to go the way of the Dodo bird. The industry faces many challenges and now is the time to unite, not rumble in the mud with each other. I see the various flavors of Pre-Trial Release as possibly being the most serious problem the industry has ever faced. There is no point in griping. Hell I gripe about having to take the garbage out, but, I have no better solution, so I take the garbage out! It is high time that a serious conversation is held about Pre-Trial. Join us on Saturday for that conversation.

  • Americas Most Unwanted and The People Who Find Them

    05/09/2015 Duración: 01h31min

Our weekly look at the world of Bail Bonds and Bounty Hunting. It has not recieved much press coverage, but California seems set on clamping down on Bondsman breaking the rules. Most of the action this week was in the northern part of the state, but LE has said that the sweep will continue south to San Diego. The charges are varied, but a common one is using inmates to solicit new buisness. Earlier this week a bit of a fight broke out online. The specifics are not relevent, but the questions it raises most certainly are. Airline pilots are very closely monitored, no booze, no drugs, even many presription drugs can get a pilot grounded. A plane is a  lethal weapon if used incorrectly. Guns are also lethal weapons. A Bondsman is a official of the court, not only must he obey the laws like everyone else, he or she are held to a higher standard than the man in the street. I am interested in hearing from the panel what they think is acceptable behaviour.

Yup, gun control again. The second amendment was written in the days of the Blunderbus, If you could hit a barn door at 50 feet you were an ace shot. Is it time to revisit it. Trump plays a trump by throwing out a jouno from his press conference. Now that is a first!

  • Americas Most Unwanted and The People Who Find Them

    29/08/2015 Duración: 02h04min

Lots to talk about this week. We are going to start off with a recording. You will have to listen in to hear the subject matter, but it should scare the willys out of any bondsman. William Cobra Staubs gets credit for this one. Next Jason Pollack and the problems he faces in California with interstate recovery. Dan Abraham has some observations about 'Kids with T-shirts saying Agent on them and badges bought at the dollar store. No-one wants more regulation. But unless the Comercial Bond world steps up and polices itself the long term future looks bleak.
