Monsters From The Basement's Podcast

Madison Lintz was a part of one of the most emotional scenes in television history on AMC’s hit show The Walking Dead. By now I am sure fans of the show have seen that episode and know what happen to her character Sophia in the mid season’s final episode. I sit down with Madison while she was a guest at The Murfreesboro Anime And Comic Convention a few weeks ago. We talked about her hobbies, he favorite actors and much more. She was a delight to talk with and I hope you enjoy my interview with Madison Lintz.

Rodney Hall appeared in several episodes of AMC’s hit TV show The Walking Dead as a zombie. I knew he was going to a guest at the Murfreesboro Anime And Comic Convention and contacted him about doing an interview for Monsters From The Basement. Acting is something he has always wanted to do and is having fun attending conventions and meeting his fans. He was a super nice guy and it was really great to get to hang out with him and conduct this great interview.

The very first horror convention I attended was the Full Moon Tattoo And Horror Convention held each year in Nashville, Tennessee. 2012 will be the shows 11th year and organizers Ben & Stacey Dixon have a lot of changes in store this year that will make it bigger and better than ever. They are in the process of expanding the tattooo shops that they have as well. I sit down and spoke with Ben about this years show and what else they have planned for this coming year. This months Babe From The Basement is Jessica Cameron. Jessica was born in Canada, moved to Ohio and recently moved to LA to be closer to the film industry. Her film credits include The Dead Matter, Truth Or Dare IV and roles on Two Doors Down and The Funny Man. I was able to talk with Jessica on the phone last week and she told me about the films she has appeared in, who her favorite actress is and some of the films she will be appearing in this up coming year. She is a super nice lady and I really had a great time talking with her. Join me as I chat with Jessica Cameron!!!

Lance Henriksen has appeared in many films in and out of the horror genre. Close Encounters, Aliens, The Quick And Dead and Pumpkinhead. I have to say he is one of my favorite actors. He was a guest at The Scarefest in Lexington, Ky this past year and was kind enough to find sometime between meeting fans to sit down and chat with me for a little while. He told me about his book and what he is currently working on, and talked about some of his favorite movies he has been in. It was truely an honor to talk to this man. The Babe From The Basement for Dec. 2011 is Ms Pretty Poison. She is an actress and model living in Ohio. We chatted for a while on the phone a few nights ago. We talked about her past projects, how she got involved in acting and modeling and Elvira and Pee Wee Herman. Of all the horror conventions that I attended last year, Days Of The Dead in Indy has to be one of my favorites. This was a first time convention for the Days Of The Dead people and it was a great success. The show was very well organized and the staff was very kind. Adolfo Dorta is one of the organizers of the show and he was kind enough to talk to me about that show and what they had planned for 2012. There are going to be three Days Of The Dead shows in 2012. One in Atlanta, one in Chicago and another one back in Indy. From what he told me, us horror fans have a lot to experience at these shows. J LaRose appearred in the opening scene of Saw 3 and was unable to escape the trap set by Jigsaw and met an quick death. J was a guest at the recent Gatlinburg Horror Weekend and I got the chance to conduct an interview with him on Sunday morning. If you have ever met J at a horror convention you know what a super nice guy he is. We talked about several of his roles in different films and what plans he has for the comming year. I interviewed the beautiful Tucky Williams last year at the Scarefest in Lexington Ky. At that time she was just starting her web series Girl/Girl Scene. That interview has became the most populare Monsters From The Basement interview ever. Since then the show has taken off like a rocket and shows no sign of slowing down. The show centers around a group of women and the experiences of their everyday lifes in the gay community. Watching the show, you can tell that this lady puts her all into each and every episode. The interview I did with her last year is my most popular interview to date. I was able to catch up with her at this years Scarefest and I hope her fans love this one as much as they did the first one. She is one increditable lady. Tucky has appeared in several indie horror flicks and was the host of a morning news show in Kentucky as well as being a meteorologist too. Join me as I once again talk with Tucky Williams.

My very favorite horror film of all time is Return Of The Living Dead. The film takes horror and humor and takes the viewer on a ride seldom found in any other movie. Also all the cast members come together and each piece fits like a jigsaw puzzle. I was lucky enough to talk with several members of the cast and crew over the past couple of months for this very special podcast. Linnea Quigley and Beverly Randloph were guests at the Scarefest in Lexington Ky last month. I interviewed them that weekend. The rest of the interviews with producition designer William Stout, Brian Peck, Alan Trautman and John Philbin were done at Frank N Con in El Paso TX. While at this convention I also spoke with Dianah Cancer who is the lead singer of 45 Grave. Their song Do You Want To Party from the film has became the rock and roll horror anthem. Cerina Vincent has appeared in everything form The Power Rangers Lost Galaxy to Eli Roth’s Cabin Fever to Not Another Teen Movie. She has also guest starred in many tv shows such as CSI and Two And A Half Men. She hopes one day to have a sit com of her own. She has been called the Hottest Woman In Horror and after meeting her at the Gatlinburg Horror Weekend I can see why. She is even more beautiful in person. She was kind enough to sit down with me and talk about her career and goals for the future. She is not only beautiful but she is super talented as well. Join me as I talk with Cerina Vincent.

One of Mark Patton's first role's was on Broadway playing Joe along side Cher and Kathy Bates in the Robert Altman play "Come Back To The Five And Dime Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean". He went on to star in the movie version of the film as well. Several years later he landed the role of Jesse in "Nightmare On Elm Street 2, Freddy's Revenge". Mark was a guest at the recent Gatlinburg Horror Convention and sit down with me for a great interview. Listen as Mark tells me about working with Cher, memories of "Nightmare 2" and his current projects. Keisha Tillis had only done some independent work before she landed the role of Jenny Jones, Morgans wife in the first season of The Walking Dead. The story line of the show she is involved in has brought tears to many eyes. Keisha was a guest at the Fright Night Film Fest in Lexington Ky this past year. She has a wonderful bright personality, stunning beauty and talent. We sit down at Fright Night and I asked her about her experience on the show and what she has in the works as far as future projects go. Check out my interview with Keisha Tillis!!

In 1978 John Stanley was asked to replace Bob Wilkins as the local horror host on station KTVU. John took the replacement job and a new chapter in the horror host world is started. Even though he had zero on camera experience he took the show over and hosted it for the next six years. He is considered a legend in horror hosting and was a special guest at this years Monster Bash in Butler, PA. John was kind enough to talk with me for a little while and we talked about his show, current horror hosting and a few projects he is working on. Ashley C. Williams is a beautiful and talented young actress who starred in 2010′s most talked about horror film “The Human Centipede”. I had spoke to her and her costars last year at the Atlanta Comic Con and the interview turned out to be one of the most popular interviews on Monsters From The Basement so I jumped at the chance to talk with her again at the Days Of The Dead Convention this past summer.
