This week American burlesque sensation Russell Bruner joins me to talk about the Louis CK debacle and its relation to the #MeToo movement. We’re a little late to the game with this topical content, but Russell suggested the topic, and given his submersion in the burlesque world, I knew he’d have well-pondered thoughts on the matter. And of course, we had some fun with it along the way. This week's guest is burlesque dancer Russell Bruner! Russell is a touring professional based in Vienna and has thrice been crowned "King of Burlesque" by the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas! Russell and Regi sat down to talk about Russell's experiences with burlesque and its scene, but eventually got sidetracked by the Unite the Right rally in Charlottsville, Virginia. This we're bringing you an old interview that Reginald Bärris had with convicted murderer Allen Nicklasson two days before he was executed. Nicklasson was dubbed The Good Samaritan Killer as hit the America's Most Wanted list in the early 90's. He was also the murderer behind the crime spree for which Regi's stepfather was executed in May 2009. This interview was recorded December 2013 so that Regi could get Allen's first hand account of the history before Allen's execution.
