Sinopsis

Meeple Overboard! is a podcast about board games, the gaming community, and our little slice of heaven that plays them.  We're Chris and Wendy, and we love board games.  Each Saturday, we'll bring you a half-hour episode featuring three segments:1. Shop Talk!  We'll discuss a general board gaming topic, answer your questions, or discuss some news.2. Random Rally!  We've got lots of interests, and eat lots of tasty things, and have a lot to share. Random Rally! is a few minutes of food for thought on a different topic each week.3. Game Time!  Let's dive into a game and tell you what we think about it.  We love playing a wide, wide variety of games, so there's lots to review.  We'll even take some recommendations.Join us each Saturday for some fun conversation!  Contribute to the conversation on our Facebook and Instagram pages or by email.  Send us any questions you'd like us to answer.www.facebook.com/meepleoverboardwww.instagram.com/meeple.overboardmeepleoverboard@gmail.comboardgamegeek.com/guild/2946

    02/02/2021 Duración: 01h24min

Welcome to the episode 200 spectacular of Meeple Overboard!  Two! Hundred! Episodes!  To celebrate, we're joined by special guest Jordan Hopper of the No Cube Zone for what the Brother's Murph have coined as the "One In a Hundred" list. We went through the Board Game Geek dot com rankings and chose our favorite game out of each page of 100 games. Therefore, out of the top 1,000 games, we were FORCED to chose 10 games spread fairly evenly throughout. It's great because it means we talk about games that seldom otherwise get mentioned. Enjoy!Yes, we know this was supposed to be posted as the last episode in 2020. A whole lot of life happened. We'll discuss it in the next episode of the show after we accidentally took our January hiatus early. All will be resolved. Enjoy the first new episode in like a month!
