    23/12/2013 Duración: 26min

To wish a merry christmas to all our listeners, Thor's occasional merry band of actors performs a production of It's A Wonderful Life, with the script taken verbatim from a 1940's radio dramatization, including us reenacting advertisements for Lux Soap by the cast. (This group was dubbed the Radio Theatrical Kaleidoscope years ago by Malekith, so we will stick with that title)

He is a list of folks from the normal hour of thunder pantheon and the character they play (in case you are courious):  Thor Does the voice of the Narrator and Stebbins,  Baldr does the voice of The Shadow/Lamont Cranston,  Freyja does the voice of Gwen Deebly,  Officer Tiger does the voice of Officer Tiger, Hell v.1 (from the muppets episode) does the sound effects and the voice of Bubbles. email hourofthunder@gmail.com if you want a copy of the script so you can follow along.

  • 072: The Shadow in The Wrath of Magnon (Radio Play)

    27/11/2012 Duración: 26min

    27/11/2012 Duración: 25min

  • 067: The Return of the Shadow (Radioplay)

    19/10/2012 Duración: 54min

We got the gang who used to record our old college "Radio Theater" back together to record our first original radio drama for the podcast. This was a script by Baldr, parodying the old Orson Welles Radio show "The Shadow."

  • 041: A Christmas Carol (Radioplay)

    19/12/2011 Duración: 01h11min

Back in college Balder and Thor used to be part of a merry band of men and women called the "Radio Theatrical Kaleidoscope." We produced, acted in, and wrote parody episodes of "The Shadow."  After a 5 years, we finally got the whole gang back together and recorded a reading of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol." This script for this is the entire script for an Orson Welles directed production of "A Christmas Carol" which was performed by his Mercury Radio Theater in the 1930's. It originally starred Lionel Barrymore (pictured.) This episode generously and awesomely edited by Laurence of Arabia.
