April is someone I greatly admire. Not only does she do incredible work and turn homes into masterpieces that create a feeling of comfort, peace and beauty, but she is WOKE as the young kids say. I have known April for quite some time now, she even helped me update/design my home when we first moved in 6 years ago. April has given me incredible advice as a new mother as well. She is a trailblazer for women in the workplace by offering “personal hours” on top of vacation and sick days so the women and moms who work for her don’t have to feel guilty, explain, or lie about why they are leaving work early to go to their child’s game, function, etc... or why they need to have some self care hours to get their hair done. Laney is someone I love and look up to tremendously. She is an incredible wife to hit songwriter and producer Corey Crowder, an inspiring mother, daughter, sister and friend. She works hard to find and bring God and love to all that she does. She recently launched “Life in the Wheat Field,” a weekly virtual Bible study on Instagram. This all started from a vision she had of herself in a wheat field (it’s an amazing story, tune into hear). Linda and I had a fast connection. As many of you know, I struggled to get pregnant with Sunny, experiencing loss and about a year of waiting, wondering if a baby was in our future. That was one of the most depressing years of my life. I have so many friends who are on a very similar, emotional journey to motherhood.
