Butcher flies solo this week reviewing a handful of micro budget indie horror flicks. Yep! These are the kind of movies that your Uncle Jimmy would have shot back in 1985 on his VHS camcorder. Oh come on! They're not that bad, right? Movies reviewed in this episode include: Defiled, Nightmare Alley, Faces of Shlock, Berdella and Attack of the Vegan Zombies. Just fair warning… this episode is for die hard horror fans only. All others will be board out of their mind!

It's a big show this week. Butcher reviews Gamblin Man's performance in the recent production of The Pillow Man. Along with reviewing this summer's biggest film INCEPTION. Brain Chomper recounts his recent interaction with local drunken bully known as The Hammer. And Gamblin Man shares stories of drunken rejections. This week we sit down with 2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams co-writer/director Tim Sullivan. Tim talks about working with genre actor Bill Mosely, how he and his teams of writers came up with this round of gory deaths and our personal favorite; the body spot check. This is where Tim checks the cast member's bodies for warts and excess body hair. During the show we also play various songs and clips from the film's soundtrack. This week on the Killer Reviews Podcast we're celebrating the world of grindhouse and exploitation cinema with an exclusive interview with Stephen Romano. This self proclaimed super geek is the man behind the 3-disc trailer compilation DVD set that was released this week by Alternative Cinema.

Based on the E.C. comic books of the 1950s, this horror anthology includes radioactive meteorites, a creepy Father's Day party, a monster in a crate and thousands of cockroaches. Venerable horror director George Romero (Night of the Living Dead) and screenwriter Stephen King are responsible for the creepfest, which features performances by Leslie Nielsen, Hal Holbrook, Ted Danson, Adrienne Barbeau, Ed Harris, E.G. Marshall and even King himself.
