With the football season officially over it is time to start diving into more podcasts to help you ignore your loved ones. This week on the show Bill brings back Law & Order: Edgeland, and talks about an argument that has been tearing his family apart for years. Feel free to weigh in and let Bill know who is to blame. Get ready for an epic NFL showdown this weekend by relaxing with an episode of Edgeland podcast. This week on the show Bill plays two recent stand up comedy sets. One that guys relatively well, and one that goes poorly. Both are humorous in their own regard. The deep freeze has set in for most of the country, but it is always warm in Edgeland. In the interview portion of the show Bill talks with graphic designer Jeff Everett. Jeff has done work for bands like the Gaslight Anthem, Foo Fighters, Wilco and much more. He talks about growing up in the backwoods of Massachusetts, the influence of Henry Rollins, and how Rockets Are Red works. The holiday shopping season is over, there is no better way to recover from all this unbridled consumerism than popping Edgeland podcast into your brain holes and absorbing over an hour of edge propaganda. With only a few shopping days left before Christmas you can get into the spirit of the season with a new episode of Edgeland podcast. This week Bill reads a Christmas Sermon by Robert Ingersoll that sums up the Christmas holiday very well. In the interview portion of the show Bill talks with Mary Brulatour of Self Defense Family about the rock and roll town of Richmond, training in Muay Thai, and the stress/thrill of performing. In the non edge section Bill talks with Cornell Ward of the Walking Alone podcast about his early days on the tuba, playing in Count Me Out, and the art of eight limbs. On this day in 1933 prohibition was repealed, a sad sad day for all prudes and edgemen. If you want to perk up your spirits then Edgeland is the perfect way to do that. This week Bill digs out a lost gem of a song to play for everyone. From the days of Napster and thought to be lost to time this song is a pop punk edge anthem. In the interview portion of the show Bill talks with Christopher Lee of The Story Changes and Hawthorne Heights about being a late comer to the edge, how fatherhood changed his life for the better, and resisting the urge to grow up. In the non edge column Bill talks with Eron Bucciarelli the long time drummer of Hawthorne Heights about New Jersey hardcore, settling into the Ohio music scene, and his new start up. What better way to recover from your food coma than a brand new episode of Edgeland. Thanksgiving has passed, but Bill still goes over what he is thankful for in 2014 because it is tradition god damn it and in this family we respect tradition. If you don't like that well too bad, life isn't fair it's about time you learn that. Because the holidays aren't always fun. Another Friday is finally here and that means the weekend is so close you can almost taste it and Edgeland is here again to brainwash you into hating attacking everyone that disagrees with you. Today on the show Bill gives very straight forward and simple advice to anyone that wants to try stand up comedy. It is very simple to start, hard to do well, and often times more trouble than its worth. In the interview portion of the show Bill talks with Nate Newton of Converge, Doomriders, Old Man Gloom, and the Calavera Conspiracy about growing up skateboarding, Virginia Beach beef, and the benefits of vegetarianism. In the non edge column Bill talks with Skott Daltonic of the band Daltonic. Happy Birthday to Edgeland. On Edgeland's first birthday things are going to be a little bit different. This week Bill doesn't talk to a single person that is edge, or even formerly edge. To start the episode Bill talks with a variety of Portland stand up comedians about their thoughts on straightedge. Bill also announces the winner of the iTunes and Stitcher review contest, so congratulations to the winner you won't have a naked torso as winter approaches. Featured on this weeks episode is an interview with an original member, and founder of the Upright Citizens Brigade, Matt Besser. Matt grew up listening to punk and hardcore and that influence can be seen in all the projects he has been involved with and it is deep within the ethos of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theaters pricing formats and show structures. Today the little dead are out in droves and Edgeland is back to invade your earholes. In this weeks Halloween Spooktacular Bill tells a tale that is almost guaranteed to chill you to the bone. Take your heart medications before listening to this nightmarish story. In the interview portion of the show things get a bit less scary, Ryan Hudon from Have Heart and Step Forward holds down the edge and talks about the influence of skateboard videos, the drama that was the Action Taken, and a brief discussion about farts. In the non edge column Bill talks with Greg Kell of Guns Up! about a variety of topics including joining Guns Up!, second tries at the edge, and how black and white straightedge can be. A very spooky, very fun episode that should not be missed.

The sun fades away faster each and every day, but you can easily brighten your day with this weeks episode of Edgeland. With Halloween a mere week away Bill goes over some costume suggestions that are guaranteed to make you the life of the party. In the interview portion of the show Bill talks with Rob Fusco of One King Down and Most Precious Blood about upstate New York hardcore, being an introvert, and the possible failings of PMA. Bringing up the back half of the show is Brandon Boots of By Blood and Adherence. Brandon talks about the skinheads in Portland, hardcore in Guam, and a series of events that led to his eventual edge break. If you like interesting conversation then this is the episode for you.

In the interview portion of the show Pat Flynn returns to talk about his early band The Action Taken, questionable on stage actions, and all the drama that comes with being in a band. In the non edge portion of the show Bill talks with Tim Cossar of Ten Yard Fight, The Hope Conspiracy, American Nightmare, and Bars just to name a few. Tim talks about his early days growing up in Maine, the influences of baby sitters, and how his edge break came to be. Tony discusses legendary Cleveland musician Michael Stanley, his love of obscure boogie rock, and rich straightedge kids. A very fun episode this week.
