He talks about growing up in the backwoods of Massachusetts, the influence of Henry Rollins, and how Rockets Are Red works. In the non edge column Bill talks with the author of NYHC: New York Hardcore 1980-1990 Tony Rettman. Tony discusses the golden age of NYHC, the early 80's scene, and why he decided to write NYHC: New York Hardcore 1980-1990. The book is available on amazon and in a kindle version as well.

In the interview portion of the show Bill talks with Nate Newton of Converge, Doomriders, Old Man Gloom, and the Calavera Conspiracy about growing up skateboarding, Virginia Beach beef, and the benefits of vegetarianism. In the non edge column Bill talks with Skott Daltonic of the band Daltonic. Skott discusses growing up in the Boston area, the feeling of when people stop being vegan compared to breaking edge, and why he wouldn't X up despite the fact he has lived an edge life for the past 15 years. This week Bill doesn't talk to a single person that is edge, or even formerly edge. To start the episode Bill talks with a variety of Portland stand up comedians about their thoughts on straightedge. Bill also announces the winner of the iTunes and Stitcher review contest, so congratulations to the winner you won't have a naked torso as winter approaches. Featured on this weeks episode is an interview with an original member, and founder of the Upright Citizens Brigade, Matt Besser. Matt grew up listening to punk and hardcore and that influence can be seen in all the projects he has been involved with and it is deep within the ethos of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theaters pricing formats and show structures. If you are a fan of comedy, punk, or hardcore this interview is very insightful. Thank you to everyone who has supported the show the past year. Hopefully year two brings you bigger and better things.

In the non edge column Bill talks with Greg Kell of Guns Up! about a variety of topics including joining Guns Up!, second tries at the edge, and how black and white straightedge can be. A very spooky, very fun episode that should not be missed.
