Alright Mary: All Things Rupaul's Drag Race

Reunited, and it feels okay. All of the eliminated queens have returned for a brief catch-up with Ru, followed by a thorough rehashing of some long-resolved conflicts, before giving an Overstock.com gift card to Ben as a consolation prize and finally handing a scepter to Bianca for a job well done, (Wait--isn't there supposed to be a crown? This is a crowning, for god's sake.) We also give out some end of season awards ("Pick Two!")and queen out about "The Comeback."

Our final four queens are in the last lap of the race—time for some Sissyography, some fabulous overacting, Ru offering Tic-Tac’s and truth over lunch with each of the girls, and a final lipsync that really doesn’t make a difference in deciding who goes to the Top 3.

The top 5 queens are getting stoned this week--designing looks inspired by precious gems and jewels for the Glitter Ball. But not before reading each other to filth via puppets, stumbling through some hasty choreography and bringing a variety of interpretations of what "banjee" means to the runway.

The Season 9 queens were just announced and this gaggle of girls deserved their own episode! We talk about who we're living for, what we expect/hope to see happen this season, and of course make some predictions based on very little information!

Here come the brides! This week the queens are giving straight men marital makeovers and giving us so much to talk about in terms of gender norms, gay panic in the locker room and the transformation of Joslyn’s bride—and we’re not just talking about his transformation into that one girl Gremlin. We also dive into Ru’s recent recommendation of The Velvet Rage, a must-read guide for any gay man.

This week, the girls are pretending to fill in as host of The RuPaul Show (nevermind that half of them were children when The RuPaul Show was on the air) and it's a mixed bag of awkward encounters and charming banter. Ben and Courtney learn how to show a little more heart, while Joslyn goes in on the hard-hitting journalism and Darienne loses an earring. Then it's animal kingdom couture on the runway and Paula Abdul behind the judges table getting her life!

When it comes to comedy, some queens do stand-up...and some melt down. This week we recap "Drag Queens of Comedy," most well-known for Laganja Estranja's bizarre ode to stoner realness, Trinity truly overcoming her saboteur and Bianca firmly cementing her win this season. Laganja infamously loses her shit (and her nail) in the Gold Bar, which inspired us to remember other RPDR meltdowns from seasons past.

This week, the girls help Rupaul sell makeup! They're strategically paired to film commercials and push producer storylines. Bianca helps Trinity bring out her own inner Bianca, while Courtney labels Joslyn as a second-rate version of herself. Then it's black and white on the runway, and a lip sync with a twist!
