I have always had a bit of a love hate relationship with John Landis. On one hand he made An American Werewolf in London. On the other hand there was the whole death of Vic Morrow and two children ... thing. Yet whatever sins Mr. Landis may have to live with one of them is not this film. Schlock was a surprisingly funny, low budget, zany romp. Paying homage to early Hollywood monster films ... the type we grew up watching on MST3K ... and infusing a little Woody Allen comic timing. James broke his streak of terrible film suggestions with this one and we all found ourselves enjoying life for a few hours. Don't worry fans ... There's only one question we leave unanswered in this webipod: should this film be referred to as "The Blexorcist", or "The Blaxorcist"?
