Is the sequel even close to the quality of the original classic?  Let's just say that there was a reason why Zucker/Abrahams/Zucker weren't involved in Airplane II. However, there are redeeming comedic qualities to be found and we discuss those on this episode.  Robert Hays, Julie Haggerty, Peter Graves, and Lloyd Bridges reprise their original roles and William Shatner is an addition to the sequel.

A terrific film noir starring Claude Rains as the host of a popular crime radio program, who gets caught up in a real-life thriller of his own.  Directed by Michael Curtiz.

The title of the film sounds like the beginning of a bad joke, but 'Three Men and a Baby' ended up being the top grossing film of 1987!  Starring Tom Selleck, Steve Guttenberg, and Ted Danson as three bachelors attempting to take care of a baby girl. Directed by Leonard Nimoy.

A Cannon films "classic"!  Charles Bronson is a non-nonsense detective attempting to catch a Ted-Bundy-esque serial killer.  Co-starring Gene Davis, Lisa Eilbacher, Andrew Stevens, and Wilford Brimley.  Directed by J. Lee Thompson.

A nice blend of Police Academy and Cheech & Chong, Super Troopers is a raucous comedy brought to you by The Broken Lizard comedy troupe about a small group of Vermont state troopers trying to save their station.
