Bats and Bikinis

Finally we cover two classics back on DVD which include Brother Orchid (1940) starring Edward G. Robinson and Humphrey Bogart, and They Drive by Night (1940) starring George Raft and Humphrey Bogart.

The Girl and the General (1967) is a haunting Italian neorealist dramedy about an Italian private, Umberto Orsini, who captures an Austrian general, Rod Steiger. Then we wrap the podcast up with a Flashback discussion of the 2010 release of the must-see oddball classic, Gabriel Over the White House (1933) starring Walter Huston and Franchot Tone.
