Then we move on to classic TV with a discussion about the animated show THE NEW ADVENTURES OF GILLIGAN (1978) as well as the event maxi-series HOW THE WEST WAS WON: THE COMPLETE THIRD SEASON (1979). Going back before the Hays Code we next the five film pre-code set FORBIDDEN HOLLYWOOD, VOLUME X (1931-33). Then it's time for four from Robert Taylor in Love and War including A YANK AT OXFORD (1938), REMEMBER? (1939), the infamous propaganda musical SONG OF RUSSIA (1944) and TIMES SQUARE LADY (1935). We finish off with a pair starring Marion Davies including MARIANNE (1929) and BLONDIE OF THE FOLLIES (1932).

Then we chat about the work of Robert Montgomery including PICCADILLY JIM (1936), THE FIRST HUNDRED YEARS (1938), YELLOW JACK (1938) and HAUNTED HONEYMOON (1940) . We then move on to a pair starring Eleanor Parker including VALLEY OF THE KINGS (1954) and THE SEVENTH SIN (1957) based on W. Somerset Maugham's The Painted Veil . Finally we finish up with the Urkel-tastic release of FAMILY MATTERS: THE COMPLETE SIXTH SEASON (1994-95).

Next, TV shows on DVD lead the charge with the 6th Season of Medical Center (1974-75) and the animated 80s classic, The Centurions: Part II (1986) - part man, part machine all awesome. Next we segue into three from the sensational Marion Davies including The Floradora Girl (1930), Not So Dumb (1930), and Peg O' My Heart (1933). We cap things off with some cutting edge cinema including the caper film, A Fine Pair (1968) starring Rock Hudson and Claudia Cardinale, Peter O'Toole and Susannah York in the dark comedy Brotherly Love (1970) and the seminal Blaxpoitation crime drama, Melinda (1972) with Calvin Lockhart and the kung-fu stylings of Jim Kelly.

Our topic today is Hollywood and we'll be discussing Bob and Doug McKenzie's epic film, Strange Brew (1983) starring Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas now out on blu-ray - mouse in a bottle not included, eh!. Our second topic today is TV Classics like Young Maverick (1979-80) - he's in the wild west, and the fifth and final season of Dr. Kildare (1965-66) starring Richard Chamberlin - this one's in color, eh! Then we move on to classic films like Woman in White (1949) and Lizzie (1957) with the lovely Eleanor Parker. She's a beauty, no? And then it's time for the RKO Varieties Triple Feature with three different hour long films that bridge the gap between radio, film and TV with hosts Gil Lamb and Jack Parr with acts like Edgar Kennedy, Anne Shirley, Red Buttons and Liberace.     We start off celebrating a very special Blu-ray set, Special Effects Collection, which includes Son of Kong (1933), Mighty Joe Young (1949), The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms (1953) and THEM! (1954) in widescreen. Then we move to contemporary TV on DVD with last year's Mom Season 2 and The Middle Season 6. Then we dive into a new five film collection of pre-code DVDs with Forbidden Hollywood Vol. 9 which includes Big City Blues , Hell's Highway, The Cabin in the Cotton with Bette Davis, When Ladies Meet and I Sell Anything. Finally we end with the classic comedies The Chief (1934), It's in the Air (1935), Man-Proof (1938), and Hotel Paradiso (1966).

Then we tackle seven dark noir-y sramas including Public Hero Number 1 (1935), Smart Girls Don't Talk (1948), Flaxy Martin (1949), Shadow on the Wall (1950), Cry of the Hunted (1953), Bobby Ware Is Missing (1955) and The Safecracker (1958).
