Blogging was once considered a side hustle or a hobby but it has since turned into a business, one that is becoming profitable as well.  These days most people find themselves with a side hustle or a side gig whether it's for the additional income to make ends meet, or to save for something big or simply because it’s enjoyable.   Any way you look at it side hustles can be lucrative as well as fun and on this Podcast, we are going to talk about a few of them - the silly and the successful ones.  

  The spirit of GOD's love lives in us all or does it? I heard many are called but few are chosen. For now, let us only focus on the ones who have the spirit of their creator in them but the light and love within is dimmed by life’s trial, tribulations, hurt, fear and confusion. How is it that GOD is love and love heals yet some humans are afraid to let love in? Is it because they have been hurt and do not want to be hurt again? So, in turn, they will quicker hurt you before you hurt them. Also, there are those who have never been hurt but they do not trust you so they are guarded, yet they still eat, pray, laugh, sex and reside with you. They even go as far as to have a child or children with you. The hardest thing to do is love yourself, but why? What if you saw things through GOD’s eyes? You have a best friend and an enemy dwelling inside of you and whatever you give more spiritual food too, is going to win. We must realize the enemy is subtle. Self-love, positive self-talk vs. the self-doubt, the negative self-talk.

Soon students from all over the country will be heading back to school and for many high school graduates, it will mean leaving home for the first time to begin their first year in college.  That transition for most will be filled with anxiety and angst and parents will be praying each and every day for their safety. However, along with packing and praying, we need to educate them on the sexual assault statistics that is prevalent on many college campuses.  We need to arm them with information on what is consent and consensual sex as well as where they can go to get more information to learn about the warning signs of sexual predators. Franchising, “In business for yourself, but not by yourself” is a common adage used to describe the advantages of franchise ownership. The franchise model investment can help a wannabe business owners become very successful, however, for many young African Americans and Latinos, there is more reluctance in which to do so.
