  • INCEPTION Commentary Track: Level 3

    25/05/2018

Now, you mustn't be afraid to dream a little bigger, darlings. Unfortunately for us, and to a degree, unfortunately for you, as well, we dreamed big. Way, way too big. Welcome to the third level down. The grand experiment in Inception commentating continues, in which we annually provide commentary for the previous year's commentary. My head is spinning. This year, Saito has bled out, but we soldier on without him... and Cody's brought alcohol. So, for once, having to commentary a commentary is the least troublesome thing we must endure. In what might be BOP's most surreal recording yet, the Crew descends into madness and self-reflection as they have nothing left to talk about in regards to the film Inception, but are, for some reason, still doing this stupid tradition just for the joke of it. We're so sorry. But never say we haven't shed blood for our listeners. Lay your head down onto the train tracks of your mind in an effort to wake from this hideous dream by downloading the commentary here! Find us on

  • AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR

    10/05/2018

Dread it. Run from it. This episode still arrives. The BOP Crew have used the Eye of Agamotto to view 300,605 versions of this episode. We stay on topic for exactly... one. Good news! That's the one we're releasing, so you get all the spoilers, all the tears, and all the insane theories! What has this grand experiment in cinematic storytelling wrought? Mostly praise for how enthralling and filled with pathos THANOS of all characters is, but also a look into how the Russo Brothers pulled off the hat trick of living up to hype and showing off what the MCU is capable of with ten years behind it. After the Malekith's, Killian's, and Yellow Jacket's of the world, is it really a villain's story that becomes the perfect summation of the MCU thus far? It's AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR time, folks! Not feeling so good? Download the episode now to hopefully still exist tomorrow! • EVIL DEAD (2013) Commentary Track

    26/04/2018

The BOP Crew wants you folks to CUT IT! But if you've somehow managed to not read from a cursed book bound in human flesh and become possessed, then you're definitely ready to join us in this sojourn into the woods for this extra special BOP 'n A Movie feature commentary! Why so extra special, you ask? Because we find ourselves celebrating the five year anniversary of Fede Alvarez's supremely underrated EVIL DEAD remake! Entwined within this audio recorded in human blood, we delve into the aftermath of it's release, the abandoned franchise plans - including the crossover with Ash himself! - and the overlooked and hefty sub-textual themes of drug abuse, addiction, and self-destruction this film carries with it! Evil Dead deserves your respect, and if you don't give it, Mia WILL probably shove a chainsaw in your face. Demonstrate your demon tree safety precautions by downloading here! • Masters of the Cinematic Universe

    07/04/2018

Do you think this is the only movie podcast in the world? You've downloaded part of a bigger universe... you just don't know it yet. Unrelated to those ominous words, this episode sees The Crew taking a look at Hollywood's current obsession with the shared cinematic universe. Why does Marvel have such a monopoly on the concept, and what essential part of the equation are studios missing? What can be gained from such a complicated endeavor, and how have creators pulled off such feats in the past? And for God's sake, will Cody ever get over The Mummy? No. No, he will not. It's The Mummy. Connect the dots by downloading here! • Men In Black

    02/03/2018

This episode is a rumor, recognizable only as another boring movie podcast, and dismissed just as quickly. It doesn't exist, it was never even recorded. Movie analysis is its name. Cinema its native tongue. We are above Itunes. Over it. Beyond it. We are madness. We are moxie. We are Box Office Pulp.  ... but yeah, here's an episode on Men In Black where we talk about how important this was to a generation of audiences, marvel at just how unique it is in the pantheon of comic book movies, debate what could be done with the upcoming reboot, and Cody sings a nice song about men! These download links are three for a dollar! Sir! A lot of podcasts promise you entertainment, but only Box Office Pulp delivers protection from infection! In an all-new Mini-BOP, the crew takes a look at Ben Wheatley's 2017 Action-Thriller-Noir-Sitcom Free Fire, an unrestrained clusterf*** in the best possible way. Join us as we discuss its deft juggling of tones, Wheatley's increasingly impressive catalog of work, whether or not Sharlto Copley happens to be playing Skeletor in this film, and Cody's childhood memories of owning human flesh.
