Our Score - 7/10 (B-)     Rotten Tomatoes - 84%     IMDB - 6.7/10 Chosen By: Steve Rushlau Let Him Go (2020) looks beautiful and Diane Lane and Kevin Costner give subtle, Oscar worthy performances, but questionable character decisions and and a script too afraid to delve into grey areas hold this movie back from being great.

Maybe skip this one and go straight to the second installment?

Director Sidney Lumet, writer David Mamet, and star Paul Newman are all at the top of their games. The cast of amazing supporting actors are just icing on the cake.

Fans of Tenacious D the band, old-school rock, or low-brow stoner comedy will love every minute of it. Others might find it to be an unfunny chore to sit through.

This is essential viewing for any fan of Tom Cruise, Tony Scott, or '80s action movies.

Our Score - 7.75/10 (B)     Rotten Tomatoes - 61%     IMDB - 7/10 Listener Request From: Bat Fastard Although The Mummy (1999) is far different from it's classic movie monster origins, it carves its own path by being a thrilling action adventure movie. The actors are all superb, the sets and locations are intriguing, and the CG remains impressive and effective to this day.

That being said, the actors play their parts well, a lot of the humor works, the non-stop action makes the time fly by, and you're lying if you claim you didn't cry at least once during it. The point is, it's amazing.

Its light, charming tone should please child and adult audiences alike.

If this is to become the franchise the producers clearly want it to be, there's a lot of work in store for the sequel.

The ensemble cast are all fantastic and, in our opinion, this remains one of Anderson's best stories and films.

This is an iconic performance from an all-time great, Paul Newman, and a must see classic movie.

It's a prime example of how to create an incredible science fiction atmosphere and aesthetic, and how to generate fear an unease through pacing, camerawork, and incredible effects. 

Our Score - 8.59/10 (A-)     Rotten Tomatoes - 89%     IMDB - 7.8/10 Chosen By: Steve Rushlau The Trail of the Chicago 7 is incredibly well written, expertly filmed, and brought to life with amazing performances. It is an interesting and entertaining story that deals with issues our nation is unfortunately still struggling with to this day. 

Our Score - 6.75/10 (C+)     Rotten Tomatoes - 73%     IMDB - 7.7/10 Chosen By: Brent Fruge Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke are at the top of their game in Training Day, but the lackluster script and the been-there-seen-that feeling the whole thing prevent it from being a great movie.

Some of Tarantino's best dialogue and some amazing performances from a huge, talented cast make this one of Tarantino's finest films.

Our Score - 8.42/10 (B+)     Rotten Tomatoes - 74%     IMDB -     7.7/10 Chosen By: Michael Lucas 'Kingsman: The Secret Service' (2014) is an absolute blast to watch. With its phenomenal action scenes, witty humor, and fantastic acting, there's something in it for everyone.

Our Score - 7.17/10 (B-)     Rotten Tomatoes - 70%     IMDB - 7.5/10 Chosen By: Aaron Cronican 'Tenet' provides provides the great acting, complex storytelling, intense thrills, and innovative camerawork that Christopher Nolan's fanbase adores. It also has the expository dialogue, vague answers, and details that might not hold up under close inspection that his detractors point to in his movies. 'Tenet' is a good movie, but it won't change anybody's mind, no matter which way they feel about him.
