We review film #72: “The Shawshank Redemption”…the 1994 film where everything Morgan Freeman says is amazing, Warden’s are dicks, and if you send 2 letters a week asking for a grant, they’ll send you books and make a yearly budget for you to just shut you up.

We review film #73: “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid”…the 1969 western where two guys in the west try to rob banks, use far too much dynamite, escape from Lord Voldemort, and do banter like they’re in a comedy.  You know, just a regular western.

We review film #74: “The Silence of the Lambs”…the 1991 film where fava beans and a nice chianti is something you-HOLY CRAP HE’S EATING THAT GUYS FACE!

We review film #75: “In the Heat of the Night”…the 1967 film where an African American homicide detective reluctantly helps a small town cop solve a murder.  Lots of racist undertones and such.

We review film #76: “Forrest Gump”…the 1994 movie about a Elvis Presley meeting, football playing,Vietnam veteran, ping pong playing, medal clad, shrimp boat captaining, Apple stock holder owning…man.  He likes to run too.

We review film #77: “All the President’s Men”…the 1976 film about newspaper reporting, people in dark shadows talking, lots of hair and ratfucking.  Seriously.  It’s a thing.

We review film #78: “Modern Times”…the 1936 Charlie Chaplin film about a tramp who gets a job…then loses the job…then gets another job…then gets another job.  Man it was easy back then to get and lose jobs!

We review film #79: “The Wild Bunch”…the 1969 western where a bunch of  old west scoundrels attempt to survive in numerous quick cuts, red paint for blood and shooting.  Lots…and lots…of shooting.

We review film #80: “The Apartment”…the 1960 film where bosses were creeps and always cheated on their wives, and young Shirley MacLaine was cute.   Stop being mean to her Jack Lemmon!  And stop slapping her Doc!

We review film #81: “Spartacus”…the 1960 film where everyone is Spartacus.  Spoilers.  Not really spoilers, it’s a scene that even people who haven’t seen the movie know.   I am Spartacus.

We review film #84: “Easy Rider”…the 1969 film where two guys travel across country, trying to find “America” and…they have motorcycles…and they really only search the lower 5 states between L.A. and New Orleans…kind of missed the mark there guys…

We review film #85: “A Night At The Opera“…the 1935 Marx Brothers film where the Marx Brothers must take down a jerk of an Opera singer and give a chance to two young, up-and-coming non-jerk Opera singers.

We review film #86: “Platoon“…the 1986 Vietnam War movie where Charlie Sheen is young, Forest Whitaker is young, Johnny Depp is young, Kevin Dillon is young and John C. McGinley…looks the same.

We review film #87: “12 Angry Men“…the 1957 film where 12 guys sit around a room all day and argue…and change their vote…and then argue some more…and change their vote again and…Jack Klugman…Sexy!

We review film #88: “Bringing Up Baby“…the 1938 film where Cary Grant isn’t Jimmy Stewart, and everyone is crazy and the comic relief.  Oh and there’s a leopard thrown in there for funsies.
