The owner of Bramham Park and President of the Horse Trials Nick Lane Fox is a happy man. The weather is behaving itself and the sport is better than ever.

7 times CCI winner William Fox Pitt has made a decent start today on his only horse at Bramham, Fernhill Pimms. A dressage of 38.1 puts him in a strong position ahead of tomorrow’s Cross Country

Ian Stark has designed his 6th cross country course for the Equi Trek Bramham International Horse Trials. The 4 times winner as a rider enjoys designing on the Bramham Park Estate and he reveals to Derm Tanner details of not only new combinations but also his favourite fence of the 28.

This year’s charity at the Equi Trek Bramham International Horse Trials is the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. IT costs twelve thousand pounds a day to keep the two copters in the air and Derm Tanner spoke to Jenny Jones from the charity.

Yorkshire rider Nicola Wilson has got her Bramham Horse Trails off to a perfect start. The Northallerton based Olympic rider produced a score of just 37.4 in the dressage on “Annie’s Clover. Derm Tanner caught up with Nicola just after she’d completed her dressage in the main arena.

Young Yorkshire rider Charlotte Brear is competing in her first major event at the Eqi Trek Bramham International Horse Trials. She is up against some of the top names in the sport and moments completing her debut dressage discipline in “Manor Missile” she spoke with Derm Tanner.

Course designer Ian Stark reflects on another Bramham and how his cross country course was received by the riders

A time fault in the cross country cost William Fox-Pitt the Bramham CCI Seniors trophy. He came third on Freddie Mac with a final penalty score of 47.8

Despite a best ever 28.1 dressage score and still maintaining the lead after the cross country, one fence down cost Izzy Taylor the CCI Seniors trophy at Bramham.
