In the news we cover Embracer selling off Gearbox, the Unity story, and Donald Mustard announcing his retirement (and some other stuff).Then we do some Don't Game Devs where we talk about stuff game devs should stop doing. JD picks his Dice of Destiny game.

This is our first ever recording while actually driving on a road trip. The sound is a little tinny but the episode is on point. We have some news, we do some IRL, Peterson tells a story about a time he drove while watching a sitcom for 6 hours, we do Love It, Leave It, and then JD reviews his Dice game - Shadows Over Loathing.

We start off with some gaming news followed by a JD asks where we talk about wholesome games. Then we play a Be Kind, Rewind about bugs in games because Peterson has been encountering a hilarious Sea of Thieves bug. JD selects his Dice of Destiny game.

Because it's episode 333 we do a special 3-hour long episode (we broke recording up). Three people, three hours, three energy drinks. We have news then Good, Bad, and Ugly with Dani. Then JD reviews Forever Skies, Jenna reviews Sayonara Wild Hearts, we play a crazy Reindeer Game, and then Peterson reviews Symphony of War: the Nephilim Saga for his Dice game. It's a good, epic episode.

Nintendo tries to patent everything from Tears of the Kingdom, XBox rolls our their new 8-strike system, THQ Nordic does a showcase and we run it down, then some steamy riblets. JD asks about a time we've gone into the wrong areas too early in a game. Peterson picks his Dice game.

Recording from two different states we have a wild episode for you. In the news we're covering the gaming market bounceback, two guys stealing a Pokemon job, Kai Cenat some more, hilarious Overwatch 2 Steam reviews, and more. Then we play some Foodio Games and Be Kind, Rewind. Peterson reviews Choo Choo Charles.

We're coming after every country in this episode. Nobody is safe. Witcher producer blames young Americans for show's failure, China rolls back tech crackdown, Nintendo next gen console news leak, riot in NYC, then some dope riblets. Peterson asks what gaming stuff you would spend your money on if you were rich, we play some Sound Bits, then Peterson selects his Dice of Destiny game.

We have 4 of us today. We do some news about gaming co-ops, Diablo 4's garbage battle pass, and Overwatch 2's lackluster numbers. And some Riblets of course. Jenna revisits VR game Pistol Whip. Peterson reviews Patch Quest, and we have a double Dice review for Neon Abyss and Coromon.

Peterson is back from the UK and jet lagged hard. Who knows what you're going to get from his sleep addled brain. We do some news about gamer rage avenged, Hello Neighbor CEO goes hard for AI, and Ubisoft competes with itself over the next 9 months. Also some pretty great Riblets. Then we talk about games that we would be embarrassed to see our Hero's Path for, JD asks what the gaming equivalent of jet lag is, and then JD picks his Dice of Destiny game.

We recorded this one early since Peterson is out of town as of the official release date so it's a crazy one. We go hard on British people and do some Impossible Riblet news. We also recorded on Peterson's birthday so we talk about birthday gaming memories. Peterson revisits Space Crew and we talk about some things that make us sad in gaming. No Dice of Destiny on this one.

We have some news and then we talk about games on our radar as well as some of our shameful backlog secrets. Then JD reviews his old school Harry Potter game for Dice of Destiny.

The news this week is pretty great with some more early Blurstie noms. Then Jenna joins us to break down the Next Fest demos that we played.

We recorded a little early because JD is out of town. We got some Booty news, EA breakup, Game Pass price increase, Titan submarine, and some riblets. We talk about good games for travel, plan out the next few Lord of the Rings games, and we do an overlapping Dice of Destiny.

In the news - Embracer is now struggling, CDPR has a Cyberpunk DLC that fixes the game, Activision Acquisition is pretty much dead, and Riblets. We do a quick new segment that introduces games that are on our radar, JD gives a first impression of Tears of the Kingdom, and we talk about difficulty settings. Trent picks his Dice game.

Peterson trolls JD with some headlines. In the news - women play video games, EA extorting college football players, GME CEO fired, Amazon tries really hard to ruin Twitch some more, and some riblets. We breakdown Summer Game Fest and the XBox Games Showcase. We talk a lot about Starfield. Trent gives his first impression of Diablo 4 and does a review for Crab Champions.

Peterson gets some goat worms in his brain that don't let him shut up about goat. Schreier does a writeup about the boofing of Redfall, NVIDIA stock price hike, Bobby Kotick with his foot all the way in his mouth. We play a game of gaming Taboo, Peterson does a rundown of Omega Strikers, and Trent takes a mulligan.

We have some news about a board game exec being the worst (We are getting a Blurstie nom almost every week now), Gollum devs apologize for their terrible game, Blizzard doing Blizzard things, Sony unveils a handheld and, of course, riblets. JD asks what game do we wish they'd make a better version of. We debut a new segment where we have some kids answer gaming questions. Trent picks his Dice game.

Trigger warning: we find out Trent has never seen The Princess Bride and JD has never seen Galaxy Quest. In the news we have Steam's timed demos, Hogleg morale system cut, Amazon Studios' LotR MMO, Overwatch 2 PvE is cut and some riblets. Then we do a Dear Game Devs for secondary characters as the main characters (a la Gollum). Jenna reviews Bloody Hell.

We get stuck on the Riblets bit tonight, so you'll have to deal with that. Peterson does a First Impression for Against All Odds. We do a Dear Game Devs for a Superman game (and a Bizarro version). Jenna picks her Dice game.

Okay, so we went a little long on this one. We had two extra hosts lined up and they both had to bail last minute for different reasons so it was just JD and Peterson. You know things get out of hand when it's just the two of us! In the news we have the Michael Scott Paper Company of Kickstarters, Apple Arcade, Phil Spencer apologizes for Redfall, and the Hollywood writer's strike. Peterson piggy backs on that to ask what would a video game industry strike look like. Then we fire up the grill for a Foodio Games about burgers that gets out of hand. JD reviews Plan B: Terraform.
