God has a picture of you in His heart: it’s you looking, living, and functioning just like Jesus! God has given us His Spirit to lead us in this path; He has given us His grace to empower us in this reality; and He sent Jesus to make it all possible. This is a reality that exists in Jesus - it is legally ours, but it is not automatic. It is a path we must choose. When we choose this path, this life, the reality that God sees, our eyes open and we begin to see as God sees. God gave His glory to Jesus to manifest here on earth so the world could see Him as He is. Jesus gave His glory to His disciples so they could continue to manifest the true character and nature of God to the world. The church is looking for the glory of God to manifest in some mystical, supernatural manner; the world is looking for the glory of God in us.
