Basketball Conference: The Acc Football Podcast

Mike and Joey are back recapping an interesting Week 2 in the ACC, where Clemson took down Auburn with an incredible defensive showing, Lamar Jackson put up over 500 yards and 6 touchdowns (despite UNC's pregame trash talk), Pitt at least made things tough for Penn State, Duke was impressive, and much more!

And just like that we are on to Week Two. If anything...we'll learn a LOT more about Clemson when they host the Auburn Tigers in Death Valley on Saturday night. We preview that match-up as well as the others, and give our ACC picks of the week.

It was a rough Week 1 in the ACC, as Player of the Year candidate Deondre Francois was lost for the season, several out-of-conference games were lost (or went poorly), and there was also Virginia Tech's huge, fun win over West Virginia on Sunday night. We cover all of that and more, and also give out 2017's inaugural Brian VanGorder Memorial "You Tried!" Award as well as the first #goacc Moment of the Week in our official Week 1 Recap podcast!

After individually previewing every team in the conference and collecting a ton of great insights from various contributors, it's time to take a look at the conference as a whole and make our final selections. Who's winning each division? Will the conference have a College Football Playoff representative? Has Joey completely lost his marbles with his ACC POY selection?

We got together with former Georgia Tech A-Back Roddy Jones, now of ESPN, to preview the conference as a whole in 2017! We discuss large-scale storylines, the lack of hype around Lamar Jackson, Roddy gives his picks to win the divisions and the conference, and of course he gave us a hilarious Paul Johnson story.
