Health Beat Reporter, Nicole Eubanks and Book It! reporter, Courtney Cheng add their excellent technology research to the program. The judges have made their decisions and the winners of the 8th Annual National Essay Contest sponsored by US Bank are announced with the first place winning entries read by the authors. The topics this year included “The World at Your Fingertips” and “Hear me Out!”. The first place winners are Pamela Lewis from New York and Dana Allen from California! Our hosts also interview a teen concert promoter of heavy metal bands, Victoria Payne, who has been going to concerts since the age of 12 and talked her way into a promotion job. Express Yourself!™ embarks on global teen travel treat. Host Steven Zhou welcomes Hong Kong born, Henry Eu, Vice President of Educational Services International. He recruits young people to teach conversational English in eleven countries.New field reporter, Mason Windatt, shares his segment On the Ball to talk about how sport teams travel. Health Beat reporter Nicole Eubanks gives us the six top reasons that teens should travel, and Rachel Glass reports on Making a Difference in the world through experiencing other cultures and being an ambassador of peace. Henry came to Boston from Hong Kong for high school via Europe at 16. He attended Stanford University for his undergraduate and UCLA for his MBA. The team bids farewell to Chan Dara as she relinquishes her hosting posting to move on to full time college courses and full time working. He plays the clarinet, the bass clarinet, the guitar, the bass guitar, the trumpet, and the drums, but his main instruments are the bassoon and the contra bassoon. He is in the Young People's Symphony Orchestra and has been for nearly three years. He plans on majoring in musical performance and education at a major university .

Hollywood acting dreams is the focus of Express Yourself!™ Courtney Cheng reviews the acting bible, The Business of Show Business in Book It! Sarah Jean Allen, a 21 year-old actor from San Jose, has been on stage since the age of six, currently studying Theater Arts in college. What sets Sarah apart from other actors is her 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and weaponry expertise. Her makeup business is Purrfect Airbrush Makeup. With a unique voice, thirteen-year old Erin Greider from Los Angeles, has been acting and performing for seven years. Erin works on-camera and in print and has found a love for theater with Magic Mirror Productions. She studies voice-over, singing, dancing, and continues to attend acting classes. Chan Dara Paschal offers a Tough Talk segment on issues that are challenging for teens in the entertainment industry.
