If you are a fan of incest you are going to love this movie. This film was released in 1987 and is based on the book of the same name which incidentally contained even more incest than the film adaptation. The film stars Kristy Swanson who was the original Buffy and also starred in a number of other eighties and early nineties movies. On the Whiz-o-meter Mark gave it gave it 2 1/2 stars while Cline gave it a full three stars.              

The Whiz Kids decide to get into the holiday spirit by providing a commentary to the 1985 film Santa Claus The Movie starring Dudley Moore and John Lithgow. The movie sets out to explain the origins of ole' St. Nick while also crow barring in a story line that doesn't introduce the protagonist until an hour into the film. This week the guys take on yet another Lina Blair film. In the movie Blair plays a Young nurse that investigates suspicious deaths in a psychiatric ward. The movie takes place in Australia and had a surprising amount of topless scenes that unfortunately did not include Linda Blair's bare breasts. Get your Netflix ready and enjoy!

Fire up your Netflix and get ready to watch one of the worst movies ever made. This film has very little story line and a whole lot of bad acting and effects. This week the guys watch the 1985 cult movie Toxic Avenger, which inexplicably includes a very unfunny intro that was on the Laserdisc release. Once you get past that part the movie doesn't get much better but at least you will have the Whiz Kids to help you get through the film.

This week the guys watch the pilot episode of hit WB drama Felicity from 1998. You will hear the guys as they literally watch the show for the first time and knew nothing about the show other than the name.

Today the guys cover the 1979 film, Roller Boogie. The movie stars Linda Blair and uses the basic story lines that are used in about a million other movies. The movie was made in a hurry as the Roller Skating fad of the era came to an end. It should also be noted that by coincidence the Roller Boogie contest and climax of the film takes place on Cline's exact day of birth. Enjoy!

In this edition of Shut Up and watch The Movie! the guys dip their toes into the television waters and watch the first episode of My So-called Life, which premiered on August 25th 1994. After watching the show a young Mike Cline Jr. would fall in love with Claire Danes and write her a fan letter which she would never return.
