19/10/2015 Duración: 02h04minThis week in part four of our Italian horror series Lee talks with Daniel and Paul in separate conversations about Luigi Cozzi's 1980 gory sci-fi horror "Contamination" and then they end up having A LOT to say about the late schlock-meister Bruno Mattei's 1980 "Dawn"/"Zombi" rip-off "Hell of the Living Dead". Lee and Daniel also cover what they've watched in the last little while. This may very well be the longest anyone has talked about these two films on a podcast, so if you're into wasting two hours of your life, this might be the episode for you. Featured music: "Zombi" by Goblin, & "Hell of the Living Dead (Main Theme)" by Luis Bacalov. Pex Lives coverage of Amicus Films.

They Must Be Destroyed On Sight! Bonus Episode: Halloween Movie Playlists.
06/10/2015 Duración: 01h12minLee is joined by Paul for a special bonus episode. Since this podcast often leans towards horror, they decided to do what every other horror-related podcast does and do a list show revolving around their favourite movies to watch on and around Halloween. Both made up two separate lists: favourite picks, that they generally watch alone, and then party films, best watched with friends. Also, just for fun, there's a few soundbites and music tracks related to some of the films they picked thrown in. Featured Music:"Halloween" and "Halloween II" by The Misfits; "Song of the Fifth Wind" by Gary Sales; "The Legend of Guandi" by The McCain Brothers & "Laurie Knows" by John Carpenter. They Must Be Destroyed On Sight! Episode 34: Favourite Movie Villains Part 3.
15/09/2015 Duración: 27minLee and Dan are back in the third part of an extended episode they recorded a while back on the topic of favourite movie villains. Originally there was to be a short piece done with Paul as well in order to puff this out into a full-length episode, but various issues came up preventing that for the time being. There may be a part four down the road with Paul eventually, which will no doubt be very horror-specific. Featured Music: "Frank" by Ennio Morricone & "Sinners" by Freddie and the Hitchhikers.

They Must Be Destroyed On Sight! Commentary #1: "Night of the Living Dead" (1990).
07/09/2015 Duración: 01h32minIt's commentary time! Yes, for the first time on the podcast, we enter the world of terrible fan commentary for a movie that you can pop into your player of choice. Turn down the volume, turn on those subtitles, and then listen to a couple of unprepared fools talk about the film as you watch. For this first outing Lee is joined by his brother Scott to eat chips loudly and talk about the 1990 Tom Savini remake of George Romero's "Night of the Living Dead". If you go into this expecting a Criterion-level discussion of the film, you'll be sadly let down. Hell, this might get the facts wrong, and it might not even qualify as a bad Rifftracks commentary, but fuck you, we did it anyway. If you do listen to it, we hope you enjoy. Cheers.

24/08/2015 Duración: 01h31minLee, Daniel & Paul are back for the third part their slasher series. This time out it's a semi-slasher/black comedy horror in "Motel Hell" from 1980 and the much over-looked slasher in the woods "Just Before Dawn" (1981). 17/08/2015 Duración: 01h17minThe whole gang is back together this week as Lee, Dan and Paul talk about two more slasher films from the 1980s for our Slasher Series. This time out it's two films considered to be legit cult classics by most slasher fans in "Sleepaway Camp" (1983) & "The Burning" (1981). Are they overlooked classics or just over-hyped? Also covered: listener comments and what we've been watching as of late. Featured Music: "The Burning (End Theme Song)" by Rick Wakeman.

They Must Be Destroyed On Sight! Episode 31: "Madman" (1982) & "The Prowler" (1981).
10/08/2015 Duración: 01h30minThis week Lee, Daniel and Paul kick off a series on 1980s slasher films by checking out the somewhat urban legend-based "Madman" (1982), and then on to the effects-driven "The Prowler" (1981). Due to some tech issues, Paul had to record a separate discussion with Lee on a different night, and he was without a good mic, thus his sound is a bit lower. People using ear buds be aware and adjust accordingly. Also: Daniel returns with another list of both recommended books and films, this time dealing with the subject of artificial intelligence. They also cover what they've watched as of late. Featured Music: "Song of Madman Marz" by Gary Sales. Daniel's AI Recommendations: Books: "I, Robot". "Gödel, Escher, Bach: An Eternal Golden Braid". "The Mind's I: Fantasies And Reflections On Self & Soul". Movies: "Pi" (1998). "Ex Machina" (2015). "Her" (2013).

03/08/2015 Duración: 01h26minLee and Daniel are back and this time Daniel has picked both movies reviewed for this episode. First off they look at a little Euro sex in "The Libertine" (1960) and then they move on to a strange pseudo-doc surrounding the people involved in a 1980s computer chess competition in (you guessed it) 2013's "Computer Chess". Also: listener comments, what we've been watching, and a list of recommended films/documentaries to help one better understand the religious right in America. Featured Music: "Brute Calculations" by Morgan Coy. IMDB links for the recommended films/docs: Saved! (2004) The Revisionaries (2012) Flock of Dodos: The Evolution-Intelligent Design Circus (2006) Journeys with George (2002) Boogie Man: The Lee Atwater Story (2008)
