Post-nuclear Reno

We catch up on the saga of the two headed, half-lesbian, half-straight, and apparently two vaginaed mutant, Andrea and Sara Buck-Cherry (Andrea B and Sara Rooker). There is lots of talk of circus escapes, drug muling, and then there's a mouse named Gertrude involved. It's all on the record. Well, I'm back from my Midwest tour that I took with Nick Josten and Austin Baca and in lieu of dealing with any people I chose clips from the most popular episodes so far! Why didn't I do this after a year? Why didn't I wait until the end of the year? Why don't you shut up and make your own podcast if you think it's so easy? Anyway. I gained a bunch of weight, I'm breathing heavy from sitting too much, and am just a general mess so enjoy this show!

This one's coming out a little late! I've been on the road for the past week or so with Nick Josten and Austin Baca around the Midwest. We've hit up some interesting spots and Nick and I talk about it this week. After a bit, we bring in a local Fargo guest comedian Comedy Joe Jough who definitely is banned from the show. We also talk with another traveling companion of ours, Gordon Lightvoice, who is a Canadian recording artist that has been trying to break in to the US market.

I had Reno comedian Matt Wiegand join me for a talk filled with copious amounts of non-sequiturs.  We talk about squirrels with my face, the impregnating couch, furry conventions, interventions, starburst dicks, being a teacher, shitting in prison, jungle rules, and then we have a slight equipment failure!

This week's podcast is jam packed full of comedy and science! I interview Sioux Falls comedian Zach Dresch and talk to him about bad drink choices, music, and 90s nostalgia, and boy do we get silly! I then check in with a few friends of mine that were getting into some super in-depth science talk. This ain't your Dad's science, this is normal science. Normal, boring, dull as dishwater science, do your research, don't believe everything you hear, and even in sources are cited be sure to scrutinize your sources. We also may or may not have been balls deep in a game of Edward Fortyhands to inspire us. I cap the discussions off with another Sioux Falls comedian, Dan Bublitz Jr. who gave me the scoop on basically everything going down in the Eastern South Dakota area. What kind of podcast do you get when you I'm exhausted from work travel and Austin needs butt cream? Well, this is it. Austin and I talk about my terrible eating habits, the new dictionary of the wastes, "The Pound of Beef", and other meat based words, ax throwing, butt cream, Chet Hanks, and swole factor. I finally sit down with a man who has been strangely connected to all manner of characters throughout the wasteland, Nick Josten. We sit down and talk a long time about South Dakota, hats, the evolution of video games, Green Day, and we talk a whole load of shit about Japan. Just kidding, let's say it was a cultural analysis of Josten-Sensei's time as an English teacher. That sounds way nicer! This is also the first two-part episode! Tune in next week for even more of Nick and I rambling about stuff. We both have a lot of cumulative life experience and both don't like talking too much about it.

Today my guest(s) is/are Andrea and Sara (Andrea B and Sara Rooker), two heads on a single mutant body, or two mutant heads on a single body, I'm not sure, all I know is that they aren't normal. Though they are two personalities sharing a body, Andrea is straight and Sara is gay, but they kind of have the same problems. That is also the crux of their upcoming podcast Same Problems, so be on the lookout for that! We talk about sliding the mayor's DMs, taking all manner of dick, being involved in circus affairs, being straight girl/lesbian chic, dick slapping injuries, strange addictions, and getting locked in a cage.

My guest today is a man on a journey. Hailing from Chicago, IL, Brendan Gay. He's 20 weeks into a 52-week journey, honing his craft in all the scenes he can across the continental United States. We talk about we talk about my military upbringing, telling jokes across the country, midwestern colloquialisms, the robots eventual uprising, casinos, and life on the road. While foraging through the wastes I came across a very confused and seemingly lost individual. He seemed familiar so I struck up a conversation with him. Through our talks, I found out that he is an interdimensional traveler but it seems his travels were not of his own volition. It seems that an errant wish had sent fat, gay Hitler to us from a universe where dear Dolphy actually made it into art school. I'm beginning to think my guest today, Lyonel Begay, interviewed me better than I did him. We talk at length about Final Fantasy, not getting lost in the Barrio, Moving couches, taxes, my own life history, and other types of media laying around my house. We move around a lot in this conversation and I wish I had done a better job of keeping up, but that's okay, if you want to hear more conversation between Lyonel and I you can check out his podcast Reno Nonsense which I will be on in the near future!    

I ran into a battle bot in the streets and decided to call him in for a podcast! We talk all about battle rap, robo-anatomy, Shel Silverstein, ass buffets, Devil Went Down to Georgia, and accents. The friendly robot, BJ Master (Sam Corbin), tells me all about his transition from failed battle robot to amateur battle-rap robot. Turns out I don't know anything about robots! The good news is, I think I learned but I'm not really sure what. During the break in the middle of podcasting, I may or may not have been looking up the phrase "All You Can Fuck Buffet" which yielded many giggles at finding a video called "All You Can Eat Ass Buffet."

I was somehow able to wrangle myself the Poet Laureate of Reno, Bartholomew Stranglethorpe (Nick Josten). We dive into his creative process, how he became Poet Laureate, and he reads us a few select poems from his "Ode to Odes." Can I hold it together? No! Does he say, "I like to do sex real rough."? Yes!  

I sit down with local Reno comedian Alex Fissell to talk a little beginner comedy shop and history. Alex and I deal with our emotions about hecklers, comedy itself, and we get into his past life as a Texan degenerate.
