Dustin: Yes? Timothy: Nicole Barré and Briana Venskus. Dustin: That doesn't actually mean anything to me, you know that, right? Timothy: Nicole Barré was in JACK REACHER, ZOO and NCIS. Briana Venskus was on SUPERGIRL, AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. and NASHVILLE. Dustin: I know those... are shows on the television machine. Timothy: And I know that you watch SUPERGIRL with the children-monsters every week, so... Dustin: Yeah, yeah. So we did really recognize them. Which just proves that we watch a lot of television, and they work a lot. Which is exactly what working actors should do. Timothy: Yep. Somehow I think we'll see them again, too. Mr. Adair and I are back again with our review of the second episode of the new season of AMC's "The Walking Dead", and after the events of last week, well... Dustin: It's a change of pace that pretty much everyone needed, but no one really saw coming. And I just want to say Melissa McBride is all the awesome. Timothy: She is, isn't she? And while I can't say this is the best episode of the show, I can say that it's one of my favorite episodes to date, and most of that is on her. We also talk the fallout from the season premiere... Dustin: And do a little Shipping... Timothy: Well, we talk a little Shipping, anyway. Because we meet Ezekiel and Shiva and the possibilities, well. Lots to talk about. Timothy: We did. Then we watched the season premiere of The Walking Dead, which was a cheery affair, as is so often the case with this show. Dustin: I especially liked the parts with the puppies. Timothy: That part was really adorable. Yes, just another episode where nothing but good things happened to our kind and noble heroes. Dustin: Or... something else entirely. Timothy: Yessss. Hi folks! It's true, we're back with the first episode of the seventh season of AMC's The Walking Dead, and things are a touch grim-ish for Team Zombie. Then it gets worse. We talk about it. We wanted to watch it, too, and we like to talk about things, so we couldn't resist watching this incredibly creepy show and telling all of you about it. Because this show is incredibly creepy. Incredibly. Creepy. Timothy: It is, and with all the grief we've given Syfy, it's nice to see them get their act together over the last couple of years, because if they had tried this just a few short years ago, it wouldn't have been anywhere as good. Dustin: This is really good, and it's @#$%ing terrifying. Which is kinda amazing for a PG13 rated show that's trying to bring creepypasta from its home in the written word to television. This could have gone really wrong, but it didn't. Timothy: Yeah, it's really good. We may have to come back to this a bit even as we deal with The Walking Dead. Which is back Sunday. And w

I'm not even wanting to argue with you about that. Dustin: Well, aside from Alicia, who has become amazing. And Madison who has finally stopped being terrible. And Strand, most of the time. And maybe Ofelia, if she's off on her own for the rest of the show. But other than that, this show is the worst. Timothy: Considering what's left is 60% of the show and Travis, Chris and Nick, who the writers think we need to spend time with... Dustin: Wrongly. Timothy: ... yes, wrongly, because they are awful... gah. It's almost over. Dustin: And we are so @#$%ing grateful for that. Seriously guys, Tim swears too and everything! Timothy: Yeah. It makes me think of the early days, when this was more of a group effort. Of course, you had fewer kids in those days, and we also were watching Once Upon a Time for... some reason. Dustin: We were enjoying the badness of it. Up until the Peter Pan nonsense and the realization that it was never going to be more than "Regina Must Never Know Happiness". Timothy: As opposed to now, where enjoying the badness of Fear the Walking Dead just isn't a thing that is happening. Dustin: It's really not. This show, Tim, this show. Timothy: Yeeeaahhhh. Why? Timothy: Because for some reason this show thinks we care about Travis and Chris, I suppose. Dustin: Well, this show is wrong. Stupid Travis. Stupid Chris. Timothy: And if you folks at home were guessing that we're not thrilled over here that we spent half the episode with these two, well, you would be right... Dustin: I hate them... so very, very much. Timothy: And you can hear us go into the whys of it all, on this episode of <i>Zombpocalypse Now</i>, where we consider "Do Not Disturb", and ask why we can't just have a show about Alicia facing down the undead hordes in high rises... Timothy: Luckily, the backup audio from the laptop mic turned out to be pretty good, considering that someone deleted the audio he had just recorded. Dustin: I said I was sorry. What more do you want from me, Tim, what more? Timothy: Wow. Zero to drama queen in under 3 seconds. Dustin: You like that? I've been seeing if I can cut my time down. Timothy: Pretty impressive. Season 2, Episode 8 "Grotesque" - Written by: Kate Barnow, Directed by Daniel Sackheim Dustin: We watched the new episode of Fear the Walking Dead. Timothy: Yes, we did. And we recorded our podcast about it. Dustin: Our 33 minute podcast. Which is interesting, since we recorded about 40 minutes of "I'm not really sure what's happening here" in response to what we watched. Timothy: Well, once I cut out all the chewing sounds and the many, many times we pause too long, because we're recording these things later than is wise for clear thought... Dustin: The candies were very good. I regret nothing. Timothy: Of that was very clear. Anyway, here's our musings on "Grotesque", the first episode of the 2nd half of Fear the Walking Dead's second season. We hope you enjoy it!

KANSAS CITY COMIC CON August 14th, 2016 Dustin: This is the quickest I think we've ever had one of our shows go up, and this isn't even one of our shows, really. Timothy: Well, it is one of our shows, because we did it, and we recorded it, so... Dustin: You know what I mean, but whatever. Hi guys! I'm Dustin, and that guy is Tim, and we did a panel at Kansas City Comic Con yesterday, in front of live people and everything! Timothy: Yes, we did, and what we've got for you is the recording we made of it, where we wax rhapsodic about the shows we cover - Dustin: - The Walking Dead, Preacher, Dead of Summer - Timothy: You left out Fear the Walking Dead. Dustin: I really didn't. Timothy: Anyway, we talk about what we do, and the audience asks us questions, and it was a lot of fun. I do have to apologize for the kinda jarring switch from our nice clean mic audio to the audience questions... I tried to boost it and clean it up, but it's not my finest work. Dustin: Can we hear them? Timothy: We can, yes.

Dustin: And I'll miss you, Jackie Earl Haley, most of all. Well, and Joseph Gilgun. And Ruth Negga. But Jackie Earl most of all. Timothy: He was pretty amazing. Of course, considering how the finale ends... Dustin: Yeeeaaaahhh. We'll see what happens when this show comes back. In the meantime, we're doing the Dead of Summer recaps here too, and then, I suppose, we'll be back with the Fear the Walking Dead ones in a couple weeks. Because life is pain.
