Zombpocalypse Now - Team Zombie Discusses Undead Things

In which new mysteries arise, the seeds of love began to blossom in the apocalypse, and a holiday delays our intrepid recorders, despite our best efforts. With the Independence Day holiday mucking about with our schedule this week, we finally had time to record, only to deal with a veritable parade of police cars passing by, beloved children interrupting the recording without warning, and apparently, some connection issues that made for some "fun" post-production audio filtering. If we sound a bit odd - well, odder than usual - that's our story, and we're sticking to it.

In which Daniel takes center stage, Mr. Adair watches the latest FEAR THE WALKING DEAD without sound, and our podcast becomes - however briefly - Storytime With Mr. Harvey.

Yes, we're super late this week. Mr. Harvey & Mr. Adair's schedules made for a later-than-planned recording session, and Mr. Harvey had a film competition, etc, etc, but late or not, we watched, we recorded, and here it is! Sorry about the delay. In which old faces make new appearances, trick shooting occurs, and THE WALKING DEAD Universe's questionable attitudes towards children continues.

In which we discuss the strengths of the second episode of the new season of FEAR THE WALKING DEAD, Mr. Adair continues to mangle the names of characters and we make a pun in the title of this episode and are not remotely ashamed.

In which Team Zombie admits that they are actually looking forward to seeing where Netflix's BLACK SUMMER is going. Not because the show is any good, because it's not - train wreck is the  more apt term - but because there is a fascination to watching the mess that this is unfold.

First, we must apologize for being late this week, but life doth interfere sometimes, and this week it most definitely did. Second, as is our wont, we have thoughts on the Season Finale of THE WALKING DEAD, and while there is certainly many a worthy moment here, there are also some real issues. And you know we just can't resist talking about those issues.

In which we recover nicely from the disappointments of last week's THE WALKING DEAD with a genuinely strong episode about hope, friendship, love and murdering loonies.

In which THE WALKING DEAD has a very special LORD OF THE FLIES episode, the moment when your parents told you "I'm not angry, but I am disappointed" is translated to the screen as a solution to a mystery, and our hosts have things to say about it. 

In which we find ourselves recording later than planned, in a different format than usual, and mostly enjoying - mostly - the latest episode of THE WALKING DEAD. Especially the sillier parts.

In which our intrepid reviewers return from an unscheduled absence last week to find that THE WALKING DEAD's dive into the Whisperers leads to some awkward questions, wisdom cometh from the mouth of babes, and in a small way, Eugene saves the day.

In which THE WALKING DEAD's "Omega" does a remarkebly good job of showing what the horrors of abuse can do to a child, that it still doesn't know what to with its new cast members, and our hosts have thoughts about both, as they are wont to do.

It's an topic we'll return to later as well, because we barely get to scratch the surface in this episode, and we'd love to hear what you are listening to and reading!
