This week Sam Bashor and DJ Wooldridge take a return trip to Skull Island! King Kong returns to cinemas this week, bigger and meaner, in Kong: Skull Island. He brings with him an all-star cast including Tom Hiddleston (The Avenger’s Loki), Brie Larson (The Avenger’s Captain Marvel), Samuel L. Jackson (The Avenger’s… well you get the idea), with John Goodman and John C. Riley. How does Kong’s latest adventure stack up to the others, like the original classic or Peter Jackson’s reboot?

It’s the end of the road for Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in the latest X-Men flick, Logan. Sam and DJ review this epic, violent, R-Rated send off to the beloved mutant. James Mangold is back in the director’s chair and he brings with him Patrick Stewart as an aging Professor X and Dafne Keen as the vicious Laura/X-23. Is Logan the right send-off for the character? Is it the best X-men movie ever? Let’s dive in!

This week the boys return to their favorite superhero shows, discussing The Flash’s epic adventure to a city full of psychic gorillas and what's maybe the best Agents of SHIELD episode ever! Plus they touch base with Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, Legion, and give their thoughts on the new Jordan Peele thriller, Get Out, in an epic, overstuffed episode recorded at the Academy Awards (maybe… you don’t know)!

PLUS they talk about the new X-Men TV series on FX, Legion, and Keanu Reeves return as the ultimate dog lover in John Wick Chapter 2!

This week Sam and DJ explore very different sides of the DC Universe, from the peppy comedic take provided by NBC’s new sitcom Powerless, to the broodingly morbid DC animated movie Justice League Dark. On the one hand Powerless has the fantastic Vanessa Hudgens with the always great Alan Tudyk as Bruce Wayne’s bumbling cousin. On the other is Matt Ryan returning as John Constantine and Swamp Thing’s return to animation (which really excites DJ for some reason). Both have a surprising amount of Batman… maybe too much Batman? Is that a thing?

In a special BONUS EPISODE Sam and DJ discuss the latest M. Night Shyamalan movie, Split! Does it hold up to his past greats like The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable? Does it demonize mental illness? And Is James McAvoy's performance the best of all time, or just the best of the year?

Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, and the Legends of Tomorrow make their 2017 debuts and Sam and DJ are here to discuss them!
