This week Sam and DJ explore very different sides of the DC Universe, from the peppy comedic take provided by NBC’s new sitcom Powerless, to the broodingly morbid DC animated movie Justice League Dark. On the one hand Powerless has the fantastic Vanessa Hudgens with the always great Alan Tudyk as Bruce Wayne’s bumbling cousin. On the other is Matt Ryan returning as John Constantine and Swamp Thing’s return to animation (which really excites DJ for some reason). Both have a surprising amount of Batman… maybe too much Batman? Is that a thing?

In a special BONUS EPISODE Sam and DJ discuss the latest M. Night Shyamalan movie, Split! Does it hold up to his past greats like The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable? Does it demonize mental illness? And Is James McAvoy's performance the best of all time, or just the best of the year?

To celebrate the CW’s epic crossover between its superhero shows, Arrow, Flash, Supergirl, and Legends of Tomorrow, we decided to have a crossover of our own with DC All Access’s Jason Inman! We not only discuss this crossover, but epic storylines we’d like to see on these shows in the future, plus our favorite comics this week, the Lego Batman Movie, and even the hit Netflix show Black Mirror!

This week Disney released its latest film, Moana! With an all-star cast, including Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as the demigod Maui, this is clearly meant to be another Disney classic like Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and Frozen, but does it make the grade? Sam and DJ review!

This week special guest Trisha Hershberger joins Sam and DJ to review the newest instalment to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them! Does it live up to the magical adventures of Harry, Ron, and Hermione, or should it be locked away in Azkaban for good?
