    "Borinquen Gallo is an Italian-Puerto Rican Bronx-based artist whose work delves into themes of beauty, community, socio-cultural systems and structures through sculpture and installations made using a range of repurposed materials. Borinquen has exhibited at BRIC Arts Media, Smack Mellon, The Bronx Museum of the Arts, Wave Hill Sunroom Project Space, The National Academy Museum, the Queens Museum, Columbia University, The Cooper Union and Queens College. In addition, she has worked on curatorial projects with BAM Fischer, and Pratt Institute. She is currently Visiting Associate Professor of Art and Design Education at Pratt Institute in New York.     "This week Kimberly speaks with the members of Collective View— a New York based group of female identified art professionals and their current traveling exhibition titled Private View . The exhibition, which travels between the homes of each participant, was conceived during the COVID-19 lockdown as a way to visually highlight the importance of art and connection in times of forced social distancing.     "Tariku Shiferaw is a New York–based artist who explores “mark-making” through painting and installation art in order to address the physical and metaphysical spaces of art and social structures. He was raised in Los Angeles, California and currently lives and works in New York City. Shiferaw’s most recent exhibitions include Men of Change, a three-year nationally traveling exhibition with the Smithsonian Institution (2019 - 2022), as well as Unbound, a group exhibition at the Zuckerman Museum of Art (2020).     "Stephanie Land is a Brooklyn-based artist whose practice is built upon a traditional photography background and developed through an acquired printmaking process. She received her B.A. in Photography at Columbia College Chicago and her M.F.A. in Printmaking at the Royal College of Art, London. Throughout the conversation Stephanie and Kimberly spoke about Stephanie's project titled White: Silence, an installation-based exploration of her own whiteness.     "Nicholas Szymanski (b. 1989) lives and works in Grand Rapids, MI. Nicholas is represented by Asphodel Gallery- New York, NY. His work has been shown within and outside of the United States. His most recent exhibition ‘Notes To Diane’ was held at Asphodel in New York City. Nicholas has also shown in Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, The Netherlands, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
