Dr. Travis and his wife, Jenna started Eye Love in 2010 after meeting a gentleman in Educador who was blind and suffering from extreme pressure pain in his eye. After treating this quiet man for several hours, he finally exclaimed that he was pain free. It was this incident that sparked the mission for Eye Love. Eye Love is on a mission to end preventable blindness and is doing so without prescribing medications left and right but taking a more holistic approach to achieving whole personal health, starting in the eye.

In the Name of Grace is helping to give recovering addicts a second chance and show them that they are not alone in the fight and are worthy of everything the world has to offer.

Something has to change in our current healthcare environment and it is up to us to lead the way and keep the conversations going. How did you get here? Laurie MacCaskill’s story is one of truth, hard work, a sunny mindset and full of inspiration. Laurie likes to say her “healthy denial” mindset is what truly made the difference in her fight with pancreatic cancer as she strived to live her life as normally as possible even with her diagnosis. By celebrating small victories in her treatment and everyday life, she was able to take control of her diagnosis and move forward each and every day. She is now taking her own life lessons and sharing them with cancer patients, caregivers and more all over the country through coaching, speaking and writing. Her story is still being written but she is using her experiences as a cancer survivor to help others write their own chapters and live out their own happy endings.
