Our Friends Said They'd Listen

David and Ron discuss a movie that's even more quotable than this podcast (Sweet Smell of Success), Ron saw a couple of new releases, and David weighs in on an absolute classic (Mr. Mom)

Ron and David defend one of Pixar's most maligned films, Ron saw one of the best picture category's frontrunners (Moonlight), and ... Basically all you need to know is this turned into our Pixar Mega Episode. We probably should have lead with that, huh?

Ron and David talk about Mean Girls and relive their glory days (last Tuesday through Thursday), and Ron doesn't have particularly strong feelings for The Girl on the Train (the movie, that is). The Halloween celebration continues with Ron and David throwing their VHS collections in the trash after watching The Ring (2002). Ron and David revisit their childhood Halloween guilty pleasures and discover that some things are better left buried.  Hocus Pocus fails to cast a spell on them, and Casper lacks substance. It's October, and David and Ron kick off the Halloween celebration by watching Young Frankenstein (1974) and a Tales from the Crypt episode. David provides a retrospective on Gene Wilder's career that's robust enough to get you college credit, and Ron saw Saw.

David and Ron are joined by special guest Daniel Tobin to discuss Diner (1982).  Ron is letdown by The Magnificent Seven (2016), and the guys debut a new game.  Green Room, Popstar, and Oceans Eleven (2001) come up as well, and David proves he's seen a movie that came out within the past decade!

David... Ron... Singing?! The first musical of the podcast is discussed. Ron shows off his singing chops. David spares listeners from his. Plus some stuff about Blair Witch and Sully.

This week David teases Ron for liking the Time Traveler's Wife (the movie and the person) before Ron waxes poetic about the bat-nipples in Batman Forever. American History X, The Fugitive, and Sully also come up.
